This guide details the story progression in Raft, focusing on the narrative elements introduced in Version 1.0. To begin your journey, craft and install a Receiver and three Antennas on your raft. You will then use randomized four-digit codes found throughout the world to unlock new story points and locations.

The First Chapter

Radio Tower

The Radio Tower is the first destination unlocked by a code. Here, you'll find notes and transcripts left by previous inhabitants, including engineers Cuckoo, Owl, and Sparrow. In the tower's top room, you'll meet the survivor Tala and find a whiteboard hinting at the final location, Utopia. You'll also discover the code for the abandoned super yacht, Vasagatan. Blueprints for the Head Light and Recycler are available, along with Loot Boxes.

Notes and Lore at the Radio Tower

• Story of the Radio Tower: Diary entries from Cuckoo detail the engineers' struggles, their work on reactors, and their journey towards a location called Selene. Sparrow's departure and the team's dwindling hope are central themes.
• Owl's Radio Notes: These notes contain radio traces and Owl's personal thoughts. Key entries include a distress call from Balboa Island, a comment on Cuckoo's reasoning, a cryptic transmission mentioning Tangaroa City, communication from Sparrow indicating he reached Selene, a distress call from Varuna Point about a missing child, and a final note mentioning Utopia, which Owl doubts exists.
