Finish Prey with our Part 64 guide! Learn how to activate the Nullwave Device, destroy January, and reach the Shuttle Bay for the game's ending and trophies.

Alright, we're in the home stretch! This section, Part 64, is all about wrapping things up. Depending on how you've played, you might be heading towards a specific ending, but let's cover the main path to getting off Talos I.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First up, you'll be in the Ychotronics area. There are likely new enemies here, so fight your way through and make your way to the Second Floor.
  2. 2
Once on the second floor, head around the circular hallways on the right, passing the "Live Exam" area. Go into the central area (where the Weaver used to be). On the structure in the middle, deploy the Nullwave Transmitter. Your objective here is to Activate the prototype Nullwave Device (Talos I Bridge).
  3. 3
Now, you need to get to the Talos I Bridge. The quickest way is to backtrack through the Talos I Lobby, then head to the Arboretum, and finally onwards to the Talos I Bridge.
  4. 4
As you approach the Talos I Bridge, you'll get a call from Mikhailia about Dahl. You don't need him for this path, so just keep moving. Inside the bridge area, you'll encounter January. January won't let you proceed unless you destroy him. Your objective becomes Destroy January.
  5. 5
This is pretty straightforward. Go ahead and destroy January. After he's down, hit the button near him to continue.
  6. 6
Note: If you've managed to complete the game without killing any humans, you'll earn the "Do No Harm" Silver Trophy here. Congrats!
  7. 7
After this, the credits will roll. Stick around though, because there's a bit more to see.
  8. 8
Hidden Location: Watch the scenes that play out. You'll learn some truths about who "Morgan" really is. Pay attention to your hands during this sequence. You'll also hear from Alex and the operators, with their impressions heavily influenced by your choices throughout the game.
  9. 9
If you've been following this guide and made empathetic choices, you'll unlock one of the rarest trophies: the "I and Thou" Gold Trophy.
  10. 10
Finally, you'll be presented with one last choice. It doesn't have major consequences, but it will either confirm or shatter Alex's beliefs. Make your choice and enjoy the end of the game!

Alternative Ending Path (Self-Destruct):

If you've decided to destroy the entire station, here's how that plays out:

  1. Start at your office and make your way to the Power Plant section (Life Support > Power Plant).
  2. Head to the Reactor Room and go down to the bottom floor. You'll need to open the Maintenance Hatch on the ground to access the area where you'll place the arming keys.
  3. Insert both arming keys and activate them to prime the self-destruct sequence.
  4. Now, backtrack the way you came and head for the Talos I Bridge (Power Plant > Life Support > Main Lift > Arboretum > Talos I Bridge).
  5. On the Talos I Bridge, go to the Captain's Chair. January will be waiting. Activate the Self Destruct sequence. You'll have 8 minutes before the station explodes. Your objective is now Talos I Self Destruct Activated.
  6. January might mention your lack of Typhon Abilities and suggest escaping. Destroy January, and then make your way to the Shuttle Bay.
  7. Shuttle Bay: Hurry back here. You might get a call from Dahl on the way, but you should still have enough time. Head back through the Talos I Lobby to the Shuttle Bay.
  8. Jump over to Dahl's Shuttle and enter. Anyone you've saved will be inside, with more in the cargo hold (indicated on the display screen).
  9. To finish, get in the cockpit and sit down. This will trigger the credits.
  10. Note: Just like the other ending, if you completed this path without killing any humans, you'll get the "Do No Harm" Silver Trophy.
  11. The ending scenes and hidden location details are the same as described above, leading to the "I and Thou" Gold Trophy and the final choice.

Tips:

  • The Ychotronics section can have a lot of enemies, so be prepared for a fight. Use your environment to your advantage!
  • When deploying the Nullwave Transmitter, make sure you're not interrupted. Clear the area first if possible.
  • The backtracking can be a bit tedious, but stick to the path – you're almost done!
