Head to the Beams and Waves Lab. From the main lobby, take the elevator up, go to the other side of the room near the fire explosion, use the door, and enter the room on the right.

Inside, go right and use the computer to "Fire the Q Beam." Unlock the room afterwards.

In the other corner, find a [_PSI HYPO_] and two [_CRUMPLED PAPER_] near a computer. Loot the destroyed operator nearby. Check the computer for emails [_EMAIL 63: RE: CANCELED FOREVER_] and [_EMAIL 64: RE: WORKPLACE GRIEVANCE_].

Near the desk with a patrolling phantom, find [_Q-BEAM CELLS x70_] on the desk, [_CRUMPLED PAPER_] underneath, and a [_USED CIGAR_] in the trashcan. To the right is a supply crate with a [_CORRODED COIL_]. Check the computer for emails [_EMAIL 65: BLACKBOX SHIPMENT_] and [_EMAIL 66: RE: FW: THIEF_].

An optional objective is available: "The Blackbox Project": Find Josh Dalton.

Enter the firing range and take the [_Q-BEAM_]. Nearby shelves have [_Q-BEAM CELLS x147_]. Down the range on a table is [_ORGANIC MATERIAL 2.0_]. Loot the phantom.

Return to the Talos I Lobby and head to Dr. Calvino's Workshop to advance the main story.

Unlock the door and enter the shop. The objective updates to: Diagnose and repair the Looking Glass server connection.

Go down the stairs and turn right to the "Diagnostic" area. Search for [_FRAYED WIRE x3_] (one in a toolbox), [_SPARE PARTS_] in the toolbox, [_USED PLASTIC TUBING_] in the trashcan, a [_FRIED HARD DRIVE_], and [_GLOO CANISTER x26_] under the stairs.

Near the window, find more [_USED PLASTIC TUBING_] and a [_CORRODED COIL_]. Under the other stairs (with cardboard), find more [_USED PLASTIC TUBING_] and [_FRAYED WIRE_].

Go to the workstation for Dr. Calvino's PC. Search the area for [_FRAYED WIRE_] in the trashcan, a [_FRIED HARD DRIVE_], [_SPARE PARTS_], the [_ENGINEERING CONTROL SYSTEMS_] document, and a supply crate with a [_CORRODED COIL_] and a [_SUIT REPAIR KIT_].

Check Dr. Calvino's PC for emails [_EMAIL 67: RE: CUSTOM TRAVEL MUG_], [_EMAIL 68: RE: SCALE MODIFICATION REQUEST_], and [_EMAIL 69: LOOKING GLASS TECHNICAL SPECS_].

Go back downstairs, turn right, and use the machine in the corner to turn on the power.

Use the console in the "Diagnostic" area. Navigate to the "Network Utilities" tab. Clicking the second tab down will fix the server connection, updating the objective to: Watch the rest of your video (Talos I Lobby).

Click the "Video Playback" tab and watch the two videos. Note the second video shows Dr. Calvino going to his "Secret Stash."

To find the stash, return to the diagnostic area and find "Dr. Calvino's Tumbler" on the toolbox. Use it on the scale to open the door.

Inside the secret stash, find [_NEUROMOD x2_] and [_LORENZO CALVINO'S CABIN KEYCARD_]. You will also receive the "Coffee Break" Bronze Trophy.

Head back to the Talos I Lobby.

Before proceeding, check Regina Sellers' PC in the Trauma Center (requires Hacking III) for email [_EMAIL 70: RE: RE: RE: PATIENT ACCESS REQUEST_].

Go up two flights of stairs from the restroom staircase to the "Human Resources" door. SAVE your game. Use a "Recycler Charge" between the couch and a heavy item to clear the way.

In Human Resources, find the "TranStar Rewards Program" book, [_FLEXIFOAM BOLTS x2_], [_COLD MOUNTAIN GREEN TEA x2_], and [_KAFE KARSK x2_] near a drink machine.

In Tom Tucker's office, find a [_MEDKIT_] and defeat a mimic.

Search filing cabinets for [_BASEBALL GLOVE x2_], [_OLD SARDAR BOURBON_], [_DISRUPTOR BATTERIES x138_], an [_ASTEROID FRAGMENT_], and a [_USED CIGAR_]. On the desk is the [_BATTERY OPTIMIZER IMI7_].

Check the PC for emails [_EMAIL 71: GOOD NEWS_] and [_EMAIL 72: HUNTER HALE_].

Go to the northeast corner of the lobby (near the "Psychotronics Foyer") to the "General Access" area. Break the glass by the PC and hit it with a Huntress Bolt to unlock the door.
