Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head to the roof to find COSMOS FLOWER CUTTINGS x4, a "Terraforming Mars" magazine, a NEUROMOD, ALEX YU: TRACKING BRACELET, and an EXPIRED PLASMA BAG.
  2. 2
    Optional Trophy: Abandon Ship!
    1. Save your game. Max your shotgun and acquire 20+ shells.
  3. 3
Head to Crew Quarters, go down, and enter the area.
  4. 4
Fight the temporary Nightmare (if you've used many Neuromods) and any mind-controlled humans. Use Combat Focus and health packs.
  5. 5
Hack the elevator at the back and take it up to Alex Yu's bedroom.
  6. 6
Kill any enemies in the room. Lift the GLOBE by his bed to find the EP101 KEYCARD.
  7. 7
Return to Alex's shuttle and use the keycard to leave Talos I.
  8. 8
Upon reaching the loading screen, you will receive the "Abandon Ship" Bronze Trophy.
  9. 9
Reload your save to continue the main mission.
  • Optional Trophy: Intrinsic Value
    1. Throw down a Recycler Charge at your feet and let it kill you to earn the "Intrinsic Value" Bronze Trophy. This can be done at any time after acquiring Recycler Charges.
  • Continue the mission by heading to the hallway with two turrets under Alex's office. Enter the "Talos I" door to fix the central elevator. Save your game.
  • Talos I Lobby: Be prepared for a fight.
    1. You must defeat a Technopath, which corrupts turrets.
    2. Use a fully-loaded shotgun for a bum-rush attack (7-8 shots). Aim for a sneak attack if possible.
    3. Be aware of two corrupted operators. Use the Gloo Gun on them.
    4. The Technopath shoots electric/EMP charges; stay at close range. It is weak to EMP.
    5. After defeating the Technopath, your "Lift Interference" quest will be complete.
    6. Loot Hendrik DeVries' corpse by the elevator for a TEST TUBE SAMPLE, HENDRIK DEVRIES' OFFICE KEYCARD, and a MEDKIT.
    7. Find the TRANSCRIBE: HENDRIK DEVRIES and a LEMON PEEL in a nearby trashcan.
    8. Return to the Arboretum.
  • Exploring the Arboretum:
    1. Head back down the hallway, take a left, and go up the hill.
    2. Take a left, past the "waterfall," and right at the path split to find a bench.
    3. Find the "The Starbender Cycle: Book 4: Backstabbed in the Face" book near the bench.
    4. To the right of the bench, through the bushes, find a hidden baseball mound with DUCK BEER x3, BASEBALL GLOVE x2, and SYNTHETIC MATERIAL x2.70.
    5. Follow the outer glass to the left of the baseball area, leading to the "Looking Glass Theater" area.
    6. Loot Thomas Tucker's body for a SILENCED PISTOL, LEMON PEEL, BANANA PEEL, 9MM BULLETS x7, and a TYPHON LURE.
    7. Break the screen to find a MEDKIT. Look up for a Greater Mimic.
    8. Use the Gloo Gun to create a path upwards. You may fight the mimic as you ascend.

    10. Find a SUNBURST BANANA PUDDING and CAPTAIN SPREE'S FISH STICKS in the nearby cooler.
    11. Your objective updates: Fabricate the growth formula.
    12. Head back down and straight past the bench, following the path and turning right at the sign.
    13. Look left for Elle Gold's Corpse to find a BURNT CIRCUIT BOARD and an EMP CHARGE.
    14. Lift the rock to her left with "Leverage II" to find the STORAGE ROOM A2 KEYCARD.
