Complete walkthrough for Part 8 of Portal: Revolution, covering levels like 100 Lemmings, Bash and Dig, Float and Climb, Build and Block, Seafood Sarnie, and A Long and Lonely Road.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
    012. Sometimes up..sometimes down. This level features white rings that reverse gravity. When Lemmings step into upward-moving rings, they walk on the ceiling until they find downward-moving rings. You need to save 100 Lemmings within 3:00.
  2. 2
Deal with two batches of Lemmings: normal and Water Lemmings. Prioritize the Water Lemmings as they appear first.
  3. 3
Position four blockers for the Water Lemmings on the first four ledges they fall down to.
  4. 4
Position three blockers for the normal Lemmings on the first three ledges they fall up to.
  5. 5
    013. Bash and Dig. Save 10 out of 20 Lemmings within 5:00. This level requires working with two groups simultaneously. Follow the arrows on the walls, digging or bashing as indicated, to guide both groups to the hot-air balloon.
  6. 6
    014. Float and Climb. Save 6 out of 10 Lemmings within 10:00. Make turning Lemmings into floaters the highest priority to prevent them from falling and dying.
  7. 7
If multitasking is difficult, save one Lemming from one side and then focus on the others on the other side.
  8. 8
Once all Lemmings are floaters and safely at the bottom, have them climb the wall to the balloon.
  9. 9
    015. Build and Block. Save 10 out of 20 Lemmings within 5:00. This is a tutorial level.
  10. 10
Position two blockers at the ends of the first ledge before the lakes to prevent Lemmings from falling into the water.
  11. 11
Build a bridge from the wide wooden space to either ledge above, using only one bridge.
  12. 12
Alternate between using blockers and building bridges to reach each successive ledge until the Lemmings reach their balloon.
  13. 13
    016. Seafood Sarnie. Save 20 out of 25 Lemmings within 10:00. Enclose most Lemmings between two blockers while one Lemming maps out a path.
  14. 14
A laser gateway to the left of the entry hatch lowers the water level when a Lemming passes through it. To keep the water level low, place a blocker in the gateway.
  15. 15
Have the solo Lemming build to the steel ledge above the dormant crab (which is a trap).
  16. 16
When the Lemming drops into the drained tank, build out of it and continue right. Bash through the wall after building out of the pool.
  17. 17
Build bridges to lead to the exit.
  18. 18
Once the path is safe, destroy the blocker holding the other Lemmings, but leave the one in the gateway to keep the pool drained. The other 22 Lemmings will reach the balloon. Destroy the gateway-holding Lemming to finish.
  19. 19
    017. A Long and Lonely Road. Save 20 out of 30 Lemmings within 10:00. Similar to the previous level, have the first Lemming create a path while the rest are held back by a blocker.
  20. 20
Focus on the loner. Build and bash as needed to reach the hole at the end of the road, then build a bridge over it to seal the gap.
  21. 21
When the builder hits a wall and turns around, build up to the high road.
  22. 22
At the first ledge, there is a small hole Lemmings cannot climb out of. To avoid this, build to the wall requiring bashing to the left.
  23. 23
Have your basher ready to start bashing through the wall as soon as you reach it.
Tips
  • In "Sometimes up..sometimes down," the gravity reversal is the key mechanic to utilize.
  • For "Bash and Dig," the arrows on the walls are your primary guide.
  • In "Float and Climb," prioritizing the floaters is crucial for survival.
  • When building bridges in "Build and Block," note the difference between wide and narrow wooden spaces for stability.
  • In "Seafood Sarnie," using one Lemming to scout and the laser gateway to manage water levels are key strategies.
  • For "A Long and Lonely Road," carefully manage the pathfinding Lemming and avoid the small, inescapable hole.
