We're going to be introduced to a new character, Mystel, and some interesting beybattles. It all starts in Ray's home village. Keep an eye out for Mariah, who's having a bit of trouble with her headband. A mysterious figure saves it, but vanishes before Mariah can get a good look. This same mysterious person then shows up to interrupt Lee's training, diving right into a waterfall! Gary and Kevin also witness this mysterious person saving a kitten – they're clearly quite agile. Meanwhile, Ray is writing to Tyson, inviting him to his hometown. His teammates mention the mysterious guy popping up everywhere, and Ray suggests they go find him. The mysterious blader is seen near a mountainside, looking for food. The scene then shifts to Tyson's grandfather's house, where Tyson, Kenny, Daichi, Hilary, and Mr. Dickenson are discussing Boris. Back with Ray and his team, they're trying to get fruit from a cliff. The mysterious blader appears, jumping off the mountain like he's flying! He reveals himself as Mystel. Lee is immediately confrontational, but Mystel is too fast for him. Mystel offers to teach them how to get their beyblades to the top of the mountain if they beat him in a Beybattle. Lee accepts and uses his Beyblade, Poseidon. Lee loses the battle. Then, it's Ray's turn. He initially struggles but devises a plan. During his special move, Mystel slips off the mountain, and Ray catches him, resulting in a draw. After the battle, Mystel reveals information about BEGA and that Tyson has joined them. This news shocks Ray and Lee. Mystel offers some fruit as a peace offering and then leaves. Ray, intrigued by Mystel's story and the news about Tyson, decides to leave with Mystel, much to his team's surprise, especially Lee's. The rest of the White Tiger X team understand and let him go.
