Part 34

Defeat the Hermit Full Moon Boss in Persona 3 FES on September 5th. Learn its attacks and recommended party members.

Walkthrough:

1. On September 4th, you can talk to Junpei early morning, attend an event after school, and talk to Aki in the evening. Late night can be spent in Tartarus or resting.
2. On September 5th, you will have conversations with Fuuka early morning and an event in the evening. The Dark Hour will feature events leading to the Full Moon Boss battle.
3. For the Hermit battle, bring Aki and Mitsuru. Fuuka will not allow you to bring only Aki.
4. Hermit (Lv. 40, 3,300 HP) uses Zionga, Mazionga, Ziodyne, Poison Mist, Pierce Attack, Charge, and Giga Spark.
5. Hermit's Zio spells deal moderate damage, manageable with Diarama. Poison Mist rarely connects but can be cured with Dis-Poison. Pierce Attack deals 70-90 HP damage.
6. The most dangerous attack is Giga Spark, preceded by Charge and two turns of emitting light. It can deal up to 300 HP damage. The sequence is Charge > emits > emits > Giga Spark.
7. Set Aki and Mitsuru to Support, and others to Full Assault.
8. Cast Matarukaja with your main character (MC).
9. If poisoned by Poison Mist, heal yourself first, then use Power Charge.
10. On Hermit's fourth turn, use Torrent Shot (if available on Cu Chulainn) for over 300 HP damage, or Getsu-ei for more damage. Twin Shot can deal nearly 500 HP damage.
11. If Aki casts Rakunda on Hermit, physical attacks will deal more damage.
12. If Hermit is knocked down, use Vile Assault for another 500 HP damage.
13. When Hermit's health is low, set everyone to Full Assault.
14. If Mitsuru and other party members fall unconscious, leave them and continue attacking.
15. Set Aki to Support to continue weakening Hermit.
16. After Hermit emits light for the second time, switch your Persona to a Zio nullifier like Take-Mikazuchi. Aki should take minimal damage from Giga Spark.
17. Use Medical Powders for healing if needed.
18. To get EXP for all party members, let Hermit use Charge, then use Recarm or Revival Beads on unconscious allies in the next two turns, and have Aki finish the battle. Otherwise, have Aki finish it directly.
