Change of Heart (4): July
persona 5 July 2nd-4th walkthrough: Establish Priestess Confidant, buy Holy Stone for 100,000 yen, and tackle Mementos requests.
- 1July 2nd: Focus on Social Stats and Confidants. If Temperance Confidant is sufficiently built, use class time to sleep, study, read, or make infiltration tools. After school, return a book at the library. If your Knowledge is rank 3, you can hang out with Makoto to establish the Priestess Confidant. In the evening, travel to Shinjuku and purchase the Holy Stone from the fortune teller for 100,000 yen. Also buy a Mega Fertilizer. Decline Ryuji's hangout invitation.
- 2July 3rd: Check TV for 10 Freeze Sprays (3,980 yen each, 50 ice damage). On Sunday, visit the Underground Walkway and buy the 5,000 yen drink for a Kindness boost. Go to the Velvet Room and fuse Personas of the Priestess, Temperance, Emperor, Lovers, and Fortune Arcana. Fuse Pixie and Silky to create Clotho (level 26 Fortune Persona). Visit the bookstore and purchase Tidying the Heart and Medjed Menace. With a Priestess Persona, meet Makoto at the school's front gate. In the evening, return to Shinjuku to eavesdrop on Chihaya and her client, triggering the Mementos request "Ending the Boyfriend’s Abuse." This is your last chance to visit Chihaya before completing this request.
- 3July 4th: On the train, read Medjed Menace if you get a seat. In class, answer "Someone pretentious said so" for a Knowledge point. Visit Mementos to complete four existing requests and potentially earn money. To earn money, you need a Persona with the Pulinpa skill (e.g., Mandrake or Inugami). Travel to Area 2 of the Path of Qimranut, then proceed to the next area. Beware of the Reaper, which appears if you stay on one floor for over five minutes (listen for chains). In Area 2 of Aiyatsbus, fight Shadow Takanashi. His moves are Evil Touch (inflicts Fear) and Lucky Punch. Defeating him yields a Protein.
- 4Exploring Mementos: This visit opens a third area and includes tutorials on fast travel and weather effects. You receive two Goho-M items. Mementos is randomly generated. Travel to Area 2 of the Path of Qimranut, then the next area.
- Maxing Ryuji's Confidant allows for instant kills on ambushed enemies, granting masks if you have space.
- The money-making aspect of Mementos comes primarily from bosses.
- Shadow Takanashi is not weak to fire, despite its appearance.
- Protein (after defeating Shadow Takanashi)
- Establishment of the Priestess Confidant
- Triggering the Mementos request "Ending the Boyfriend’s Abuse"

The Awakening
Follow our step-by-step guide for Persona 5's 'The Awakening' mission. Learn how to navigate Leblanc, meet Sojiro, and start your journey.
- 1April 9th: After exiting the subway, you'll get a tutorial. Head to your new lodging. Speak to the police officer (press X) for directions to Sojiro Sakura's place, Leblanc. Enter the alley with the mother and daughter. Find the entrance to Leblanc. Meet Sojiro Sakura, who shows you to your messy room. Start cleaning your room. After Sojiro checks in, go to bed. Experience a flashback and enter the Velvet Room, meeting Igor, Caroline, and Justine.
- 2April 10th: Sojiro takes you to school to meet the principal and your teacher, Sadayo Kawakami. Witness scenes involving an accident and prosecutor Sae Niijima. Back at Leblanc, Sojiro gives you a diary to save your game. Hear the cafe phone ringing, pick it up, and go outside to flip the 'Closed' sign. Head back inside and go to bed.
- 3April 11th: Speak with Sojiro and eat the curry he made. Exit Leblanc and take the subway to Shibuya Station. Navigate the station: go upstairs, U-turn, pass the turnstile, head north to escalators/stairs. Take the right exit to Station Square. Go through the 'Teikyu' opening, up stairs, through the turnstile to the Ginza Line platform. Board the train to Aoyama-Itchome. Exit and meet a vulgar boy.
- 4Mysterious Castle: Walk with the boy to what appears to be the school, but it's a different place. Suits of armor take you to a cell. Examine your surroundings to trigger a scene and enter the first dungeon.
- Use the upper right of your screen for hints on where to go.
- Save your game often using the diary provided by Sojiro. Look for the 'Options' command.
- Pay attention to the map icons, though many will be inaccessible initially.
