Thebel 14F Boss: Rampage Drive

The Rampage Drive (RD) is a challenging boss. Its Assault Dive attack can defeat characters with less than 110 HP. Yukari's low HP and weakness to Zio are critical vulnerabilities. Equipping her with a Life Ring can slightly increase her HP.

Strategy for Rampage Drive:

• Nullify Yukari's Zio Weakness: Search for Rash Guards or Camo Shirts within Thebel that have the "Resist Elec" ability. Equipping these to Yukari will nullify her weakness to Zio and allow her to survive Mazio attacks, provided she keeps healing. If no such armor is found, consider leaving Yukari in the lobby and fighting with only MC and Junpei.
• Using Magic Mirror: When RD uses Mazio, using MC's Magic Mirror can inflict massive damage back onto the boss, especially if Rakunda is active. Triple Mazio could deal over 300 HP damage if reflected.
• Using Rakunda and Sukunda: Cast Rakunda on RD to reduce its defense. If Magic Mirror is unavailable, cast Sukunda on RD to lower its accuracy and evasion, increasing survival chances against Assault Dive.
• Elemental Attacks: Zio deals more damage to RD than other elements.
• Persona Recommendations:
  • For MC alone: Use Ara Mitama (resists Strike) to cast Rakukaja and Rakunda. Switch to Omoikane (resists Zio) to cast Zio. Alternate between these Personas.
  • If using a team: Cast Rakunda on RD on the first turn. Set Yukari and Junpei to "Heal/Support" after scanning RD. Use Magic Mirror when RD uses Mazio.
  • If Magic Mirror is unavailable: Cast Sukunda on RD, then Rakunda, and attack with Zio. Switch to Apsaras and cast Cadenza when the team takes significant damage.
• Junpei's Role: Junpei is less effective due to RD's resistance to Agi. He may primarily use Medicines or Medical Powders.
• Tarunda: Casting Tarunda to reduce RD's attacks is possible with Orpheus, but Orpheus is weak to Zio. Fusing Orpheus might yield a Persona without this weakness, but remember fusing removes the Persona permanently until re-summoning is unlocked.
• Physical Attacks: RD nullifies and repels/nulls all physical attacks, making AoA (All-Out Attack) impossible unless RD's Pierce Attack is evaded.
