A door opens above the skull rocks. Throw Bobbery into the opening; his explosion will open a passage.

Enter the cave (Pirate's Grotto). Use the Save Block. Find Ruin Powder behind barrels.

Navigate down ledges, avoiding bounce-back from a springboard.

Jump onto a partially-sunken boat. Head to the bow for a Shine Sprite.

Continue left, encountering Fire Bubbles. Use Yoshi's Flutter Jump to reach a Star Piece.

Navigate the room with spears. Use Vivian's Veil ability to time your passage between spears. Exit right.

In the room with the Bill Blaster, use Vivian's Veil to avoid Bullet Bills. You will need to fight Bill Blasters at the end. Use piercing attacks like Piercing Blow and Gulp. Exit right.

Jump across a gap. Find a mechanism to raise a gate, but it's missing the handle. Battle a Bulky Bom-omb to the right and exit right.

Defeat an Ember. Climb steps. Use the Save Block. Fire Koops to reveal a Coin Block from the next-to-last step.

Jump on the block, hammer the Shine Sprite's box. Defeat a Parabuzzy and cross a gap.

Throw Bobbery onto a ledge so his explosion triggers a ! block, opening a door. Go through.

Defeat another Bulky Bom-omb. Spin Jump near the doorway for a Star Piece. Continue past a waterfall to the left and exit.

In the storage room, hit the ! block to raise a board. To get the Grotto Key, stand next to the ! block, face left, and fire Koops while holding X. Get on the board, then the crate, and retrieve the Grotto Key.

Use Yoshi's Flutter Jump and the board to reach barrels on the left. Get a Star Piece and a Shine Sprite. Return to the room with the Save Block.

Save and use the Grotto Key on the locked door.

Prepare for battles with Parabuzzies. After the fights, Spin Jump in the middle of the room for a Star Piece. Exit south.

In the room with spears, fire Koops to the right for a Shine Sprite. Use Vivian's Veil or Tube Mode to navigate the spears. Exit left.

In the room with Bill Blasters, deal with them using piercing attacks. Exit left.

Jump off a ledge onto a dock, trapping you. Continue left into the shipwreck.

Find a black chest. Talk to the demon inside. Defeat an Ember that falls from the ceiling to get the Black Key. Open the chest to gain a new ability.
