Walkthrough
- 1After Punio asks Flurrie for help, return to the Great Tree.
- 2Climb the Great Tree with Flurrie and use her ability to blow away paper, revealing a secret entrance.
- 3Enter the secret entrance and proceed to the first room.
- 4After a brief encounter with two X-Nauts, a Puni will emerge. Convince it you are not a threat, and more Punies will appear. Puniper, the leader, will refuse to help until the captured Punies are rescued.
- 5Heal at the save block and use the pipe to proceed.
- 6In the next room, ignore the mechanism and take the pipe.
- 7Check the bush south of the pipe for a Power Punch. Head left and use the pipe to the upper level.
- 8Navigate the upper level, dealing with Piders (5 HP, 1 Attack, hit multiple times). Collect any scattered Punies.
- 9After a cutscene featuring Ms. Mowz, enter the room with red and blue jail cells.

- 12You'll find yourself in the room where the X-Naut was knocked out. After a brief encounter with Ms. Mowz, the X-Naut awakens and attacks you. Defeat him to get his key.
- 13Use the key to open the chest containing an Ultra Shroom (heals 50 HP). Return to the cell room.
- 14Head to the red cell and unlock it. After a long lecture from the Puni Elder, she agrees to help.
- 15Return to the first room and talk to Puniper. The Elder reprimands him, and Puniper and nine other Punies join your party.
- 16The Elder explains that the Crystal Star is in the depths of the tree and requires the Puni Orb to unite the Punies. She gives you the Puni Orb.

- 18Place the Puni Orb on the pedestal in the next room to activate the mechanism and erect a new pipe. Remember to remove the Orb.
- 19Use the new pipe to reach the other side of the entrance room. Use the control panel to unlock the door, then use the pipe on its side.
- 20Down here, you can find items like Thunder Rage and a Star Piece. Activate the pedestal on the right, then return to the Punies.
- 21Use Flurrie's ability to blow the Punies towards the active pedestal on the other side.
- 22Once all Punies are across, deactivate the pedestal and use the pipe.
- 23In the two-floor room, use Koops's skill on Piders if you wish to avoid collecting Punies after battle.
- 24Continue until the next pipe. Blow away the object on the grayish floor with Flurrie's ability and fly to the other side.
- 25Activate the plane panel, then hit the Shine Sprite box for a Shine Sprite.
- 26Go back up the pipe, collect the Punies, and continue.
