Alright, so you've made it to Sunken Hollow! This is the second area you'll explore in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and it's pretty unique. Imagine a massive cavern system deep underground, nestled inside a volcano. When that volcano gets going, the whole place lights up with lava, making it a prime spot for mining. It's usually cool and dry down here, though, filled with water, tons of ore, and lots of fungi.

Think of it as a treasure trove. You'll find all sorts of useful stuff scattered throughout its various areas. Let's break down what you can find where:

• Plants: You'll find these in Areas 2, 4, and 9.
• Mushrooms: Keep an eye out in Areas 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8.
• Berries and Seeds: These are located in Areas 4, 5, and 6.
• Bones: Head to Areas 7 and 9 for bones.
• Spider Web: You can gather this in Areas 5 and 6.
• Honey: Look for honey in Areas 1 and 7.
• Ores: These are abundant! Check out Areas 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
• Insects: You can find insects in Areas 2 and 6.
• Dung: Area 7 is where you'll find dung.

Beyond just the raw materials, there are some specific spots worth noting:

• Area 2: This is your go-to spot for fishing in Sunken Hollow.
• Area 3: Here you can find Sootstone Ores. Be careful, though – they're super fragile, almost like carrying eggs!
• Area 8: This area has an abandoned Herbivore Egg nest. Look for a small dip in the ground on the lowest level to the right.
• Area 9: This is a popular spot for most monsters to take a little nap. Area 7 is similar but mostly for Bird Wyverns. If you're looking for mammals, they tend to prefer sleeping in Area 2.
