Alright, so you've decided to take on the Berserk Tetsucabra in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, huh? This guy is basically Tetsucabra turned up to eleven, and it's exclusive to G Rank, so you know it's going to be tough. Unlike its calmer cousin, the Berserk Tetsucabra is pretty much always enraged, meaning it's going to be coming at you non-stop with unpredictable combos. Seriously, don't underestimate this monster; it's called "Berserk" for a reason!

Before you even think about fighting this beast, make sure you've got a good handle on fighting the regular Tetsucabra. It'll give you a much better feel for its general moveset, which this enraged version just does faster and more aggressively.

Stats / Weaknesses

• Elemental Weaknesses: Ice and Thunder are your best bets here. Bring weapons with these elements to really put a dent in its health.
• Status Weaknesses: Poison can be effective against it, so consider bringing gear or items that inflict poison.

Location

You'll find the Berserk Tetsucabra in the Sunken Hollow and Volcanic Hollow areas. It tends to start out in Area 8, roams through Areas 1, 2, and 3, and will often retreat to Area 9 to rest.

Attacks

The Berserk Tetsucabra doesn't have a whole new set of attacks compared to the regular Tetsucabra, but its personality is completely different. Where Tetsucabra might pause and give you an opening, Berserk Tetsucabra is relentless. It loves to combo its attacks with almost no warning, so you'll need to stay on your toes.

• Fiery Boulder Bash: This is its signature move. When it picks up a rock, watch out! It'll either explode on impact, or after a short delay where it flashes brighter and brighter orange. These explosions have a huge radius, so be ready to dodge roll away as soon as you see it charging up.

Breakable Parts

Good news! The Berserk Tetsucabra shares all of its breakable parts with the regular Tetsucabra. Focus on breaking these parts to potentially get extra materials and to weaken the monster.
