Weapons in Part 7:

Sniper Rifle: A favorite weapon for long-distance engagements, equipped with a scope. It is exclusive to Max Payne. Drawbacks include poor performance at close range and a slow rate of fire. Clip size: 5, Total ammo: 50. First Appearance: Part I, Chapter 4.

Dragunov: Similar to the Sniper Rifle but with a higher rate of fire, though less accurate. This weapon is exclusive to Mona Sax. Drawbacks include poor performance at close range and lower accuracy compared to the Sniper Rifle. Clip size: 10, Total ammo: 100. First Appearance: Part II, Chapter 4.

• Always collect weapons after defeating an enemy.
• Thoroughly search all containers, rooms, and hidden areas for items.
• Utilize painkillers and bullet time extensively; bullet time regenerates when not in use.
• Wait for bullet time to refill before advancing if it has been depleted.
• Shootdodges are less effective in Max Payne 2; focus on standing and gunning with bullet time, which allows engaging multiple enemies simultaneously.
• Avoid rolling sideways or forwards/backwards as you cannot shoot while doing so.
• Utilize quick saves frequently, especially after difficult fights or before entering new areas.
• Peek around doorways before entering to assess potential threats.
• Observe enemy movements and plan your strategy when facing numerous opponents.
• If an enemy is stationary and you cannot attack, use cover to draw their fire, then attack when they reload.
• When an enemy approaches, let them come closer, take cover, and attack when they are near.
• If an enemy is suppressed (taking damage but unable to fire back), continue firing with a rapid-fire weapon until they are eliminated.
• When using cover against charging enemies, step out to shoot briefly, then retreat to cover, repeating until all enemies are defeated.
• Be prepared for action once an enemy spots you, as they will pursue.
• Lure enemies into ambushes by retreating into areas where you can take cover and engage them as they follow.
• Aim for the head for critical hits.
• Monitor your ammunition and bullet time levels.
