In Max Payne's apartment, locate the wedding ring on the small table to the right of the sofa. You will also find Michelle Payne's photo on the same table.

Search near the TV on the ground for several photos of Max and Michelle Payne.

Behind the big table opposite the TV, on the ground to the left, find the article "The Hero Cops" featuring Max Payne and Alex.

In another room, on a table, find a photo of Max Payne and Alex Balder.

On the big table opposite the TV, find the "Late Goodbye" CD.

When Mona Sax's body is revealed in the Hospital Morgue, you can see her left breast.

In Chapter 4: No 'Us' in This, all the memoribilia from the previous level (photos, wedding ring, CD) can be found again. The wedding ring is now on the big table opposite the TV.

At the beginning of the level, use the phone in the bedroom of Max Payne's apartment to trigger a cut-scene of Max calling the police.

If you miss the first phone call, you can call again from another apartment. In the apartment with a snoring old man and the TV on, use the phone in the first room to get a different cut-scene with new dialogues.

After reaching the apartment from where you were being sniped at, use the phone-tapping device on the table to listen to the last three phone calls made by Max Payne: one to Detective Winterson, one from Jim Bravura, and Max's call to a phone sex girl named 'Mona' from Dangerous Liasons.

When you encounter the lady who kills a cleaner at the beginning, listen to her talks. She will offer you a shotgun; press the 'Use' key against her to get it. After receiving the shotgun, exit the house to trigger a cut-scene where Max tells her to lock the door.

If you switch off the TV in the house with the snoring old man, he will wake up and speak about being spied on and needing the TV signal.

After leaving the snoring man's house through the window, you will find another house. The deaf old woman inside will offer you painkillers if you listen to her. Press the 'Use' key when she offers them, and she will unlock the bathroom where the painkillers are located.
