Alright, so you're looking to spice things up in Max Payne 2, huh? Maybe you've hit a tough spot, or you're just curious about what kind of hidden goodies the game has. Well, to get to the good stuff, you first need to tell the game to let you use cheats. It's a bit of a roundabout way, but totally worth it.

First things first, you need to mess with the shortcut you use to launch the game. Right-click on your Max Payne 2 shortcut, go to Properties, and find the 'Target' field. You'll see something like this:

"C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe"

You need to add a space after the closing quote, and then type -developer. So, it should look like this:

"C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer

Make sure there's a space between the end of the path and the -developer part. Once you've done that and saved the changes, you're ready to start entering cheats in-game.
