Part 34

Max's Memorabilia: In Max's apartment, find his wedding ring on a small desk, Michelle Payne's photo on the same desk, and several photos of Max & Michelle Payne on the ground beside the TV. Also, find the "Hero Cops" article featuring Max and Alex behind the coffee table, and a photo of Max & Alex Balder on a table in another room. The "Late Goodbye" CD is on the coffee table. Note that some photos feature Timothy Gibbs' face superimposed on Sam Lake's.

Phone Calls: At the start of the level, use the phone in Max's apartment bedroom to call the police and trigger a cut-scene. Alternatively, in another apartment (where an old man snores with the TV on), use the phone in the first room for a different police call cut-scene.

Phone Tapping: After reaching the apartment from where you were sniped, use the phone-tapping device on the table to listen to three recorded calls: one to Detective Winterson (if you called the police earlier), one from Jim Bravura lecturing Max, and Max's call to a phone sex girl named 'Mona' (who shares a voice actress with Mona Sax).

Old Lady with Shotgun: Encounter a lady who kills a cleaner. Listen to her, and she will offer you a shotgun. Press 'Use' to accept it. After exiting the house, a cut-scene plays where Max tells her to lock the door. Trying to open it will result in her threatening you with the shotgun.

Snoring Old Man & TV: If you turn off the TV in the old man's apartment, he will wake up and speak about being spied on and needing the TV on as a signal. He will then return to snoring.

Sweet but Deaf Old Woman: After leaving the snoring man's house, you'll find another house. The deaf old woman there will offer painkillers if you listen to her. Press 'Use' when offered, and she will unlock the bathroom where the painkillers are located.
