Where to Find Squid Tentacles

Find Squid Tentacles in like a dragon infinite wealth by diving for trash in Aloha Beach for 1,000 points or trading 18,000 Geomijul’s Survey Data in Yokohama Underground.

Weapon crafting is introduced in Chapter 4 via Substory 20 - A Better Bat. While not mandatory, crafting and upgrading weapons can be more cost-effective and offer a higher power ceiling than purchasing them. Seven-star weapons, the highest grade, require rare materials like Shark Fins or Squid Tentacles for their final upgrades. Ten out of the 24 jobs in the game feature seven-star weapons that list Squid Tentacles as their rarest upgrade requirement.

How to Obtain Squid Tentacles:

Squid Tentacles are generally rarer and considered more late-game than Shark Fins, with a few exceptions.

• Aloha Beach, Honolulu: Interact with Yoko on Aloha Beach (southwest of the Aloha Seaside restaurant) to initiate The Recycling Center minigame. You can kick over mounds of sand or dive for trash off the coast. These collected trash items can be exchanged for points. Trading 1,000 points will yield one unit of Squid Tentacles. Be aware of swimmers, boats, and enemies on the shore.
• Hawaiian Haunt: You can obtain one unit of Squid Tentacles by rescuing all individuals within the Hawaiian Haunt, including the EX levels (Sector 4).
• Yokohama Underground: This optional dungeon, unlocked in Chapter 10, offers Squid Tentacles. You can find them randomly in suitcases in later sectors. Additionally, you can trade 18,000 Geomijul’s Survey Data to Utamaru for one unit of Squid Tentacles. Geomijul’s Survey Data is the equivalent of the Hawaiian Haunt’s Data Disks.
• Final Dungeon: In Ichiban’s final dungeon, two Squid Tentacles can be acquired: one from a boss encounter and another from a dive spot after defeating that boss.
