Examples include the 'Mainsail' (high thrust, low ISP in vacuum), 'Skipper' (balanced), and 'Terrier' (high ISP in vacuum, low thrust). Their efficiency is measured by Specific Impulse (ISP), which varies between atmospheric and vacuum conditions.

Choose engines based on the stage's TWR requirements and the environment it will operate in. High-thrust engines are good for liftoff, while high-ISP vacuum engines are ideal for orbital maneuvers and interplanetary transfers.
