Archive Island

Archive Island in Into the Breach features Archive Inc. CEO Dewey Alms, temperate climate, and unique pilots like Gana and Prospero. Learn about special tiles and objectives.

Pilots:

• Gana = Deploy anywhere on the map, damaging adjacent enemies (requires 1 Power)
• Harold Schmidt = Push adjacent tiles when repairing
• Lily Reed = Gain +3 Move on first turn of every mission
• Prospero = Mech gains Flying (requires 1 Power)

Special Tiles:

• Ice Tile = Can be melted by Fire attacks or broken by two attacks to create a Water tile
• Forest Tile = turns into a Fire tile when damaged applying Fire to units
• Water Tile = destroys Vek without Flying or Massive; Mechs and Massive Veks can't take actions while submerged

Special Environmental Conditions:

• Air Support = bombs are dropped on a tile destroyed everything in that tile and adjacent tiles
• Mines = destroys first unit that moves onto a tile with a Mine
• Tidal Waves = one column of tiles turns into Water tiles each turn; destroys mountains, but doesn't damage Buildings

• Defend the Artillery Support
• Defend the 2 Tanks (2 Corporate Rep)
• Defend the Satellite Launches (2 Corporate Rep)
• Destroy the Dam

Special Units:

• Archive Tank, 1 HP, 4 Move, projectile pushes target
• Dam, 2 HP, destroy to flood two rows
• Old Artillery, 2 HP, 1 Move, 2 damage to 2 tiles
• Satellite Launchers, destroys anything in adjacent tiles upon launch
