Complete Gears Tactics Part 21 walkthrough covering the Angry Titan (Corpser boss) and Tip of the Iceberg missions. Learn boss strategies and optimal paths.
Walkthrough
- 1Engage the Angry Titan (A36), which is a boss fight against the Corpser.
- 2After defeating the Corpser, proceed through the path where Cole and Baird appeared; the area will seal behind you, leading to a checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) and the next chapter.
- 3CORPSER BOSS FIGHT STRATEGY:
- 4The Corpser attempts to crush you by stomping with its nearest leg. Stand by a leg and wait for it to raise.
- 5Run away from the raised leg and shoot its stomach. Blind firing may be effective.
- 6After it screams, shoot its neck (not its chin, chest, or head).
- 7It will roar and back up. Repeat this process three times until it is backed up as far as possible onto a platform.
- 8While still standing on the rock (not the platform), shoot the two small hedges on each side of the platform to break them.
- 9The Corpser will fall into the Immulsion, completing the task.
- 10INSANE NOTES: Beat the Corpser quickly to prevent Wretches from appearing.
- 11Proceed to Tip of the Iceberg (A37), the end of Act 3.
- 12Be prepared for Theron Guards, who have a height, accuracy, and one-hit-kill advantage.
- 13You will encounter a Point of Interest: the Torque Bow. It is advised against using it in single-player, but you may pick it up if it's your first playthrough.
- 14Marcus plans for himself and Dom to go straight into the pumping station while Cole and Baird flank right. It is advised against going straight into the pumping station.
- 15Take the right path instead. Continue until Dom hears a sound, likely near a chipped L-shaped wall.
- 16Take cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) at the L-shaped wall and equip your Longshot.
- 17When Marcus says, "Let's clear that station!", begin sniping enemies. This is easier than the intended path.
- 18If it is your first time playing on Casual, you may take the left path. On harder difficulties, the right path with the Longshot is recommended.
- 19If you do not have the Longshot, you will have to go up to the platform and pray.
- 20Once enemies stop coming, head towards where Cole and Baird likely are and go up the ramp.
- 21Take cover and carefully make your way around the platform, eliminating all enemies.
- 22After clearing the platform, head down the ramp and continue straight.
- 23Look for a green button on the right side of the path and press it.
- 24Two more Acts remain.
- 25INSANE NOTES: The Longshot is crucial for this segment on Insane difficulty. Without it, you must enter directly and pick off enemies meticulously. Theron Guards are dangerous with the Torque Bow, which is a one-shot kill. If you hear the Torque Bow charging or see its glowing sight, stay in cover.
- 26Proceed to Act 4 (A4) and the Ashes Overview (A41).
- 27Your objective is to go to Marcus's house.
- 28Theron Guards are prevalent in this chapter and may seem easier but should not be underestimated.
- 29You will fight a Berserker before reaching Marcus's house.
- 30The final thirty seconds of this Act will be intense.
- 31Begin Campus Grinder (A42) by heading up and to the left, taking cover.
- 32Use the Longshot to eliminate as many enemies as possible.
Tips

- The right path in Tip of the Iceberg is significantly easier with the Longshot.
- Always prioritize staying in cover when facing Theron Guards, especially if they are using Torque Bows.
- The Longshot is essential for efficient progression in Tip of the Iceberg on harder difficulties.
