Discover the Sorceror class in Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation. Learn about its stats, growth rates, skills like Vengeance and Bowbreaker, and how to best utilize this powerful magic-focused unit.
The Sorceror is a Nohrian magic user that dives deep into dark lore, wielding fearsome Magic. While they sacrifice almost every other stat for it, their Magic can be incredibly potent. They are the closest the game gets to a pure mage, though they lack access to Tomefaire, which is a bit of a bummer.

Weapons:
- Scrolls/Tomes
Skills:
- Vengeance: Skill x 1.5% chance of adding half of a user’s lost HP to attack damage.
- Bowbreaker: If an enemy has a yumi/bow equipped, grants Hit+50 and Avoid+50.
While Vengeance is a pretty great skill, it's a bit tricky to use effectively. Ideally, you want to keep your allies healthy, and letting a Sorcerer run around with low HP to maximize Vengeance is a high-risk strategy, though it can pay off if you play carefully.
Bowbreaker can be a valuable skill if you plan to reclass a unit into a flying class. You can have them temporarily become a Sorcerer just to learn Bowbreaker and then switch back. Just remember to protect your Sorcerer afterwards, as they are quite fragile and can be taken down easily if not watched. But when they're safe, they'll repay you by burning foes to ashes.
Sorcerers, much like Dark Mages, have access to the dark tome called Nosferatu.
