How To Play Cockfighting

Alright, so you want to get into cockfighting in Far Cry 6? It's a pretty fun little mini-game once you get the hang of it. Think of it like a rhythm fighter where timing is everything. We'll get you set up to win every match.

Here's how to get started:

First off, you can't just jump into a cockfight whenever you want. You'll need to progress through the main story until you reach the Montero Farm in Costa Del Mar. Once you're there, find Ivan Minoso. He's usually hanging out right by the Cockfighting Ring.

Chat with Ivan, and he'll give you your first Rooster from a wooden box nearby. Talk to him again, and you'll be thrown into the Fight Screen. You'll see three difficulty options: Civilian, Guerilla, and Revolutionary. To unlock the tougher ones, you'll need to bump up your Civilian Rank by winning fights. Winning these matches will also net you some Yaran Pesos, which is always nice.

How to Win:

The best way to take down your opponent is all about timing. Wait for them to make a move and attack first. As soon as they finish their strike, hit 'em with a Long Range Attack, then immediately follow up with a Close Range Attack. Keep repeating this combo. You'll notice a red bar under your health slowly filling up. Once that bar is completely full, you can unleash the Gallo Super Rage Mode Attack by hitting L1 + R1 (or LT + RT on Xbox). This special move can really turn the tide of a fight.

Getting More Roosters:
