Before arriving at this floor, make sure you have a Forest Fish to be given later. You also need to have someone who has learned Detect Mana and Reflexes in order to deal with two events later.

Remember, the difficulty can be changed anytime when you're in town.

Walkthrough

Nearby you'll see two Bucking Giraffes patrolling on the same route. For now just follow the path counterclockwise but immediately head south at the intersection and take the west exit at the next one to find an event in the dead end. Upon reaching this place, you'll feel very thirsty and would love a refreshing drink. Nearby, one party member spots a plant that resembles cactus but it has a red fruit hanging. The fruit seems to be edible. In order to get the best result, select the second option Study the fruit more to do that and see a stag beetle on the fruit, then the first option Catch it to obtain Stag Beetle, and finally the first option Eat the fruit to restore your party members' TP by 150 points! This is actually a huge TP recovery so if you are not really exhausted, you can skip this event for later use (and don't forget to give a label on it as a note). If you immediately choose the first option Eat the fruit you'll miss the chance to capture the beetle, but Kashmir at the bar can sell it to you for a certain price. If you choose Leave it be for the following two decisions, the event will end without receiving a log.

Continue east and take north at the first intersection, and eventually you'll find a stone pillar in the north side. Wait until a Bucking Giraffe appears behind the pillar and then push it to stun the FOE. Take one step south, three steps west and three steps south to see a chest in the west, but before opening that make sure the second Bucking Giraffe doesn't block your return path, otherwise after opening the chest you have no way to get out unless you want to fight the FOE. Once the road stays clear for a few turns, open the chest to obtain Allsight Crystal, a unique accessory that has the same effect as Analysis Scope. With the northern path is blocked, the non-stunned Bucking Giraffe will change his travel path to inside the area, meaning now you can travel through where the FOE's original path before. Move clockwise through the path and eventually you can exit north through a door.

The next room has Glaring Stinger that doesn't change his direction at all. Move forward to open the next door, and at the center of the field you'll find a remain of campfire. Once you're done with the cooking time, continue north through a door and then push the stone pillar to the west. Now go back two rooms and the Glaring Stinger won't be able to see you thanks to the fallen pillar. Make your way to the door in the northwest area.

Take south at the intersection to find a gathering point where you can harvest a few Forest Wheat, then backtrack and continue west until you see a door in the south.

This room has 2 Glaring Stingers far away in the west, but you don't have to worry for now. Approach the southeast corner of the map to meet the black bird again, and you should know the drill. Select the first option Give it a Forest Fish to g
