A complete walkthrough for the 6F - Rising to New Heights area in Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth. Includes enemy details, event solutions, and item locations.
Upon your arrival at the second stratum, you feel surprised since the atmosphere is completely different than before. In this floor you need someone who has learned Reflexes, either Night Vision or Brute Strength, Hunting Skill and Animal Care to get the possible result of several events. The latter skill is necessary to start a miniquest. For the next several floors you also need one Forest Fish for each floor to obtain something later. Not all of these floors has fishing point, so don't eat the fish unless you have some spares.
Remember, the difficulty can be changed anytime when you're in town.

Walkthrough
Move 2 squares east to trigger the first event near the cliff. One of your party members attempts to peek over the edge and eventually spots a small bag hanging on a branch. It seems possible to retrieve the bag although it comes with a risk of death. Select the first option Reach for the bag, and if you have a character who has learned Reflexes, they would be able to accomplish the objective. Inside, you find White Bread and Mountain Copper x3.

Continue your path to the west and you'll find a Girl who speaks with uneasy tone. After introducing herself as a Harbinger named Solor, she mentions how dangerous this stratum compared to the previous one, and afterwards points out a mysterious purple light in the north side. Once you get the point, she leaves this place. That thing is called Geomagnetic Pole that serves as portal to instantly warp to the town and also acts as a save point when needed. Nice.
You don't need to approach it unless you want to save your game or do something in the town. Later you'll come back to this place through a nearby shortcut. Continue a bit until you find a door, then take the northwest route to find a taking point with Cecidium, Aromatic Moss and Rainbow Fruit.
Now take the northeast route and suddenly you notice a boulder nearby. What makes this peculiar is that the boulder doesn't seem to touch the ground, and after taking a quick peek on the gap, you find out something is stuck inbetween. But you don't know what it is unless there is someone who has learned Night Vision, or someone can just lift the boulder if they have learned Brute Strength. Select any option and then a character who meets the requirement will do the job. With that, the trapped thing turns out to be a small turtle, and after it is freed, you find a Celestial Silver underneath where the turtle was trapped before. Either choice gives the same EXP reward.

Follow the way to the dead end in the north to harvest a random amount of Forest Wheat, then backtrack a bit to find a door in the east. Continue until you notice the ground becomes softer as you step forward. The track becomes muddy and perhaps it's better to stop and look around. The best action to clear this event is by selecting the first option Continue forward and having someone who has learned Reflexes. If you do, one party member gets stuck in a mud, and to make matters worse, a big boulder rolls down the cliff. If this character has learned Reflexes, they will escape just in time, otherwise they'll lose 30 HP. If you choose the second option Observe the area, you'll stop and watch the boulder falling down. This event happens immediately and ends with whichever choice you pick.

Continue your progress to the north and take the north exit at the intersection. This path will lead to a dead end, but before that you'll find a crevice on the west side. Pass through it to arrive at a small room where you can open a chest containing Miraculous Ring, a unique accessory that can revive one party member, so it's better to be put on a backline character.
Return to the previous area and approach the dead end to find an event. In this area you'll notice a couple of small birds near the rock. After analyzing them, you figure out that they are Forest Great Quills whose meat would be tasty enough for your meal. But catching them won't be easy unless you learn how to hunt. If you have a T
