Welcome to the Magicite Mine! This area is more linear than the Crimson Forest. You'll find several items and secrets as you progress through the tunnels.

Walkthrough

    From the entrance, head down. Ignore the hole in the ground for now and continue left to find the Relic - Helix Crystal.

    Return to the hole and go down. Take the left path first. It leads to a room with an NPC and the Findings - Writing Etched Into the Wall.

    Return to the fork and go right. Follow the path to a Respite.

    After saving, drop down and head left. Slide down the wall, jumping left mid-slide to reach a ledge with Materials x140.

    Drop down and go right. Climb the platforms above to find the Charmed Fragment in the upper right.

    Drop down and go left into the next room. Follow the upper path to the left to find another Charmed Fragment.

    Drop down and head left into the long vertical shaft. Go to the very bottom, kill enemies, and find a hidden zone on the right. Go through to find Materials x160.

    Return to the vertical shaft room and go up. In the next room, head left into a circular room. Find the chest on the left side containing the Relic - Tarnished Tag.

    Return to the vertical shaft room and take the lift up. Enter the room to the left for a Respite. An NPC will give you the homunculus Muninn.

    Heal and save, then proceed left. In the next room, go up and then right, defeating the machine enemies.

    Go left, then all the way right to find an exit. This leads to a mini-boss fight against the Squad Leader, Mining Unit 1. After defeating it, you'll receive the Experimental Amplifier. Flip the lever to open a path.

    Return to the lift room and take it up again. Jump left to grab the Findings - Notification of Restricted Areas.

    Go right into the long room. Follow the upper paths to the upper right corner to find a hidden zone with Materials x130.

    Continue right through a tunnel to find a chest containing the Upgrade - Grimoire. Flip the lever to open the way back to the entrance.

    Return to the lift room and go left into the next room. Proceed through to find a Respite.

    Save your game and proceed left to trigger scenes and the boss fight against Garm, the Giant Gravedigger.

  • Cutting white flowers replenishes healing dots.
  • The counter homunculus is effective against Garm's kick attack.
  • Be patient during the Garm boss fight, as its attacks can be deceptive.
