Welcome to the Magicite Mine! This area is more linear than the Crimson Forest. You'll find several items and a mini-boss as you progress.

Walkthrough

    From the entrance, head down and then left. Ignore the hole in the ground for now and continue left to find Relic - Helix Crystal.

    Return to the hole and go down. Take the left path to a dead end where you'll find an NPC and Findings - Writing Etched Into the Wall.

    Return to the fork and go right to find a Respite.

    After saving, drop down and head left. Before sliding down, jump left to a ledge to find Materials x140.

    Slide down and go right. Climb the platforms in the upper right to find a Charmed Fragment.

    Drop down and go left into the next room. Follow the upper path to the left to find another Charmed Fragment.

    Drop down and head left into the next room. Go to the very bottom of the vertical shaft, kill enemies, and find a hidden zone on the right. Go through to find Materials x160.

    Return to the previous room and go left into the next room. In the circular room, head to the leftmost side to find a chest with Relic - Tarnished Tag.

    Return to the room with the large lift. Take the lift up and enter the next room to the left to find a Respite and meet an NPC who gives you Muninn.

    Proceed left up the platforms. In the next room, follow the upper path right, defeat the machine enemies, and note the blocked area.

    Go all the way right and take the exit to the right to fight the mini-boss, Squad Leader, Mining Unit 1. After defeating it, you'll receive Experimental Amplifier. Flip the lever to raise the wall.

    Return to the room with the large lift and take it up again. Jump left to grab Findings - Notification of Restricted Areas.

    Go right into the next room. Follow the upper paths to the upper right corner to find a hidden zone containing Materials x130.

    Go down and continue right to find a chest with Upgrade - Grimoire. Flip the lever to open the way back to the entrance.

    Return to the room with the large lift and go left into the next room. Proceed through the enemy-filled room to find a Respite.

    Save your game and proceed left to trigger scenes and the boss fight against Garm, the Giant Gravedigger.
Tips
  • Cutting white flowers replenishes healing dots.
  • The counter homunculus is very effective against Garm's kick attack.
  • Be patient during boss fights, especially against Garm, as his attacks can be deceptive.
