First things first, you'll want to start at the Church District Entrance Site of Grace. If you haven't found that yet, no worries. Fast travel to the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace. From there, head west and look for a small archway. You'll need to jump down through it on your spectral steed, Torrent, all the way to the bottom.

Push through the tunnel you find yourself in and climb the ladder at the end. This will lead you to Bonny Village.

Once you're in Bonny Village, follow the little pebble path heading north. This will take you towards the Church District Entrance.

When you reach the Church District Entrance, look to your right. You'll see a branch hanging down – drop onto that. Carefully walk across the rooftops, then use the archway to get onto the rooftop above. Keep an eye out for an enemy up there!

Now, you'll need to drop down through two holes in the rooftops. Follow the path that winds northwest.

Enter the second doorway you come across on your left. This will take you to an elevator. Ride it up to the Specimen Storehouse.

From the Specimen Storehouse, follow the path heading west, past the Back Section Site of Grace. You'll find the Carian Thrusting Shield right there.
