    First Meeting: Travel to the Main Gate Cross site of Grace in the northwest of Gravesite Plain. This is north of the Gravesite Plain Grace, west at the intersection past Three-Path Cross. Speak to Moore, purchase an item (Note: Sealed Spiritsprings for 1000 Runes is recommended), and then talk to him again. Afterward, speak to Sir Ansbach about Moore (the "person in the verdigris armor").

    Second Meeting: Find Thiollier by heading northeast across Ellac Greatbridge, then southeast on a path just before Castle Ensis. Go off the path and down a grassy slope to find Thiollier near a Grace. Exhaust his dialogue, then return to Moore. After speaking with Moore, he will give you Black Syrup. Teleport to Pillar Path Cross and give the syrup to Thiollier.

    Third Meeting: Collect all seven Forager Brood Cookbooks. These are found by locating Lesser Kindred of Rot. Be cautious: killing two of these will cause Moore to invade you, allowing you to get his armor early but missing other rewards.

Forager Brood Cookbook Locations:

  • Cookbook 1 (Spellproof Pickled Liver): West and then north from the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past site of Grace, overlooking a cliff.
  • Cookbook 2 (Fireproof Pickled Liver): South/southeast from the Cliffroad Terminus site of Grace, in a field.
  • Cookbook 3 (Lightningproof Pickled Liver): Northeast of the Cerulean Coast site of Grace, by the cliffside past the Lightning Rams.
  • Cookbook 4 (Holyproof Pickled Liver): Far northwest from the Highroad Cross site of Grace, north of the Church of the Crusade. This brood is unresponsive; use a Warming or Sunwarmth Stone to warm it up, then reload the area to talk to it.
  • Cookbook 5 (Opaline Pickled Liver): Northeast from the Moorth Ruins site of Grace, in a cave with Miranda Sprouts and Perfumer enemies. Find the Forager in a poison puddle near the cliffside.
  • Cookbook 6 (Well-Pickled Turtle Neck): From the Church District site of Grace, head east, then south, then west back toward the Keep (while outside). The Forager is by the cliffside near the Keep wall.
  • Cookbook 7 (Spirit Raisin, Charming Branch): Speak to Moore after obtaining the other cookbooks.
