You can actually attack with them while still blocking, which is super handy. Unfortunately, there are only two of them in the entire game, but they're definitely worth tracking down.

Dueling Shield Location

First up is the Dueling Shield. You'll need to have a Strength of 15 and Dexterity of 14 to wield it effectively.

To snag this shield, make your way to the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace. From there, head across the room and go up the stairs until you hit the third floor. Keep heading south, and you'll see a balcony you can jump over. Leap across to a platform on the left, and you'll find the Dueling Shield waiting for you. It comes with the awesome Shield Strike ability, letting you bash enemies with your shield!

If you haven't made it to Scadu Atlus yet, don't worry! You can get there by pushing through Castle Ensis, which is located northeast of Gravesite Plain.

Carian Thrusting Shield Location

Next, we have the Carian Thrusting Shield. This one requires a bit more investment, needing 17 Strength, 13 Dexterity, and 15 Intelligence.

You'll find this shield starting from the Church District Entrance Site of Grace. From there, hop across the rooftops until you reach a pillar. Take that pillar up, then drop down into two holes. Keep following the path northwest, and go through the second doorway on your left. Take the elevator up to the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace. Finally, head southwest, and you'll find the Carian Thrusting Shield resting on a corpse at the end of the path. Happy hunting!
