Navigate the 'Tis Wroth, Indeed quest in Dragon's Dogma 2. Learn how to defeat the Cyclops, find the Watergod's Altar Key, and explore the Watergod's Altar.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Dispatch the Cyclops. It will drop the 'Watergod's Altar Key'. Loot the room for items in ornate chests and a rounded chest. Leave the Watergod's Altar and inform Haslett of Jean's demise.
  2. 2
Talk to Haslett, who will ask you to continue Jean's search in the ruins. Return to town to restock and prepare.
  3. 3
Talk to Haslett again to learn about the engraved tablets you need to collect.
  4. 4
Head back to the Watergod's Altar and use the 'Watergod's Altar Key' to open the previously locked door.
  5. 5
Enter the new room and defeat the Sulfur Saurian. Search the room for warrior remains and a chest. Note the northern passage (inaccessible due to water) and the eastern passage.
  6. 6
Proceed east and cautiously descend stairs, defeating an invisible Sulfur Saurian.
  7. 7
In the chamber to the north, defeat Skeletons, Skeleton Knights, and Skeleton Mages. Loot a chest in the north-western corner and mine an ore vein for a Priceless Artifact.
  8. 8
Head north-east to a room with a pressure plate. Stepping on it will drain the water permanently, opening further exploration.
  9. 9
Backtrack to the room opened by the Watergod's Altar Key and take the northern path, which is now accessible.
  10. 10
Descend the stairs and exit west into a large chamber. Defeat Skeleton Mages, Skeleton Knights, and Phantasms (if it's nighttime).
  11. 11
Loot the scattered items. A ladder in a southern tunnel leads back to the drawbridge room.
  12. 12
North of your exit, along the eastern wall, find scalable stonework leading to a ladder. This leads to a small room east of the Sulfur Saurian chamber, containing a square chest with loot.
