Learn about every enemy in Dragon's Crown, from Bandit Tommits to Assassins, and discover their locations and attack patterns.

Bandit Tommit

Locations: Randomly almost everywhere

Bandit Tommits will randomly appear and steal drops and treasure chests. They have a lot of health and are fast, attacking or retaliating with bombs. You usually have to deplete their health a couple of times. Once killed, you will get back everything that was taken.

Brood Corpse

Locations: Castle of the Dead: Catacombs, Ghost Ship Cove

This slow, morbidly obese undead creature deals very damaging vomit. Upon death, it explodes, spreading vomit and maggots. Avoid the vomit and the explosion.

Demon - Black Demon

Locations: Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower

These flying red or black round demons can be annoying. Red demons fling fireballs and cast fire under your feet. Black demons cast thunder all over. They are not tough but deal significant damage and can be hard to hit. Evade frequently. If a demon portal is present, destroy it first ASAP.

Diana

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Forgotten Sanctuary

These are stationary statues that shoot arrows. Approach them from a different plane.

Doppelganger

Locations: Mage's Tower

These enemies resemble hunched skeletons with transparent skin. They jump around and attempt to bump into you. If they succeed, they transform into you and become more dangerous. Avoid being bumped, and if they do connect, defeat them.

Dragonlisks

Locations: Old Capital Path A, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress Path A, Lost Woods Path A

These raptors breathe fireballs. If knocked down, you can ride them and cast fireballs.

Evil Wizards

Locations: Wallace's Underground Labyrinth, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress, Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower, Lost Woods

Evil Wizards teleport and cast various spells including fire, poison, thunder, ice, and web, which can inflict considerable damage. They are resistant to magic. After casting or taking damage, they teleport to the other side of the room. Keep moving and evading.

Fighter - Gladiator

Locations: Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower, Lost Woods

These armored humans perform charges, attacks, twirls, jump attacks, or cast light magic. Gladiators can withstand and deal damage but are relatively easy to evade.

Ghosts

Locations: Castle of the Dead: Catacombs, Old Capital Path A, Ghost Ship Cove Path A, Forgotten Sanctuary Path A, Wallace's Underground Fortress Path B

These white spirits can only be damaged by fire, such as a torch, fire spells, or bombs. They are slow and easy to avoid, but inflict consistent damage if they touch you.

Giant Spiders

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins Path A, Castle of the Dead: Catacombs Path A

Giant spiders drop from the sky, flinging webs and poison. They sometimes return to the sky. They are easy to evade and kill.

Goblins - Goblin Mages - Red Caps

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Old Capital, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress, Forgotten Sanctuary Path A, Wallace's Underground Labyrinth Path B

These small green creatures usually appear in groups. Regular goblins may wield daggers, crossbows, or bombs. While regular goblins are weak, crossbow variants can be annoying. Goblin Mages are tougher and cast dangerous, hard-to-evade spells; defeat them ASAP. Red Caps are significantly tougher and faster, capable of stunning and damaging combos. Evade frequently to avoid stuns.

Hellhounds

Locations: Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower Path A

These dogs breathe fire, but their attacks are easily telegraphed and they are simple to defeat.

Killer Fishes

Locations: Old Capital Path A, Lost Woods Path A

These fish can only be attacked when they leap at you and usually die in a single hit.

Living Mud

Locations: Lost Woods Path A, Wallace's Underground Labyrinth Path B

These large mud monsters can fling mud or grab you for unavoidable, high damage. Avoid their grabs to stay safe.

Lizardman - Boss Lizardman

Locations: Old Capital, Ghost Ship Cove, Lost Woods, Ancient Temple Ruins Path A

These lizardmen wield spears and can perform jump attacks, swings, stabs, throws, or twirls. They also have a close-range, damaging poison spit. Blue variants tend to stay back and throw spears, while green and boss variants charge. Their spear twirl is particularly dangerous, dealing high damage and resisting knockback; maintain distance when they perform this move.

Myconids

Locations: Wallace's Underground Labyrinth Path A

These mushroom creatures are very easy to deal with. Smaller ones may hide to grow larger, but remain simple to defeat.

Orcs - Orc Chieftains

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress, Old Capital Path A

These large green humanoids perform standard attacks, but their jump attack is highly damaging and should be watched for, despite being easy to see coming. Otherwise, they are not overly difficult.

Owlbears

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Mage's Tower, Old Capital, Lost Woods

These creatures, resembling bears with owl faces, appear randomly in wooded areas. They have some resistance to knockback and deal decent damage, so approach from range.

Pirates - Assassins

Locations: Ghost Ship Cove Path A

Regular pirates wield swords and are easy to deal with. Assassins, distinguished by their red swords, are difficult. They teleport, cast binding webs, perform devastating combos, and resist knockbacks. It is best to engage them from range or use attacks with invulnerability frames.
