Fourth Floor

Navigate the Fourth Floor of the Circle Tower in Dragon Age: Origins. Confront demons, loot valuable gear like Templar Armor and Archon Robes, and uncover lore.

Alright, let's tackle the Fourth Floor. As soon as you enter, look to your left for a pile of rubble. Go ahead and clear that out – it'll give you Codex 248: Extra-Curricular Studies. There's also a chest off to the right, so don't miss that.

Now, head around the circular part of the floor and go into the first door on your left. Inside, you'll find a Desire Demon has a Templar bewitched. Here's a choice: if you let them go, Leliana will approve. However, if you decide to fight and kill the demon, the Bewitched Templar will drop Templar Armor and Codex 244: Desire and Need. The book itself will give you Codex 154: The Tevinter Imperium. You can also find a gift in the vanity and closet.

The next room on the left is a bit more dangerous – it's got more enemies and a Blood Mage. Watch out, there's a Leghold Trap right in the doorway, so be careful as you enter. When you defeat the Blood Mage, they'll drop Archon Robes, which are pretty decent. You'll also find a pile of books, another chest, and a closet to loot. Just a heads-up, that chest needs a high Cunning skill to unlock.

Next, head into the middle room. Here you'll encounter a demon that throws you into the Fade. Don't worry, this triggers a new quest called “Lost in Dreams”.
