Hey there! Welcome to Part 8 of our Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze adventure. This section is all about helping you snag those hidden goodies and get through the levels smoothly. Don't worry, we'll break down exactly where to go and what to do, but remember, this guide assumes you've got a bit of platforming experience under your belt. If you're new to the Kongs, maybe check out the 'Game Basics' section first!

We'll be using a few icons to make things clear on the island maps:

• Paths: Straight lines show how levels connect. Plus signs are just corners! Usually, a path opens up after you beat the level before it.
• Levels: Numbers in parentheses are normal stages, and you'll tackle them in order. Letters (except K) mean secret stages you unlock by finding secret exits. The 'K' stages are extra-special and only appear after you've earned a star medal on every other stage on the island.
• Shops: A bracketed [S] means it's time to visit a shop. You can grab helpful items, extra lives, or even capsule toys there.
• Boss Fights: See a curly-braced {*}? That's a boss! We'll help you get ready for those.

To keep things quick and easy to reference, each part of the walkthrough will be broken down into categories:

• Puzzle Pieces (1): These bullets will point out nearby landmarks and tell you exactly how to grab each of the hidden puzzle pieces. They're numbered in order, so you'll know if you've collected them all up to that point.
• KONG Letters [K]: Find a bracketed [K]? This section will guide you to the KONG letters (K, O, N, G) with details on landmarks and how to snag them.
• Secret Exits {X}: An 'X' in curly braces means there's a secret exit! You'll need to find both the normal and secret exits to unlock everything, so decide if you want to go for it on your first run or come back later.
• Important Info : Anything else important gets an exclamation point in angle brackets. This could be a checkpoint, a 'point of no return' (meaning you can't go back after this point, so make sure you've got everything you want!), or a tricky-to-get hidden item.
