Walkthrough: Crazy Clouds

1. After navigating spiky blocks, grab all bananas in a wind gust to reveal a puzzle piece.
2. Blast to a propeller platform, then into a wind gust. Perform a giant roll-jump to the right to find two hot hootz guarding a puzzle piece.
3. Ground-pound an urn and grab the resulting bananas to earn a puzzle piece.
4. Ride a firecracker platform up, then continue right. Ground-pound an urn on a propeller platform and quickly grab the puzzle piece before it explodes.
5. Ride a forward-facing firecracker platform, jumping over spiky blocks. A puzzle piece is located between two sets of spiky blocks; come up from a duck to collect it.

Extra Modes: Time Attack

Time Attack is a mode where you race to the end of any previously completed level as quickly as possible. Scores can be uploaded online to compare with others. You can view top times, times near your own, and friends' times to learn new strategies.

Time Attack General Tips:

• Patience is key: It takes practice to run levels at high speeds. Don't get discouraged by initial attempts.
• Medal Beep: You'll hear a beep when a medal time is about to expire within five seconds. Hit the goal barrel quickly.
• Items: While items don't count towards your total, they can indicate fast paths.
• No Lives Lost: If you would normally lose a life, you restart from the beginning of the section instead of the whole stage.
• Rolling is Faster: Always roll instead of running. Jumping at the end of a roll maintains speed.
• Partner Kongs: Having a partner Kong makes you roll faster and allows for continuous rolling. Grab Kong barrels when possible.
• Kong Selection: Choose your Kong wisely in the stage menu. Cranky is often the best choice for speed as his cane pogo doesn't affect momentum, unlike Diddy's jetpack or Dixie's ponytail twirl.
