Part 11

Crazy Cart: Ground-pound in front of the first object for a puzzle piece. Continue right to a checkpoint. In the next barrel cannon segment, aim carefully to collect the 'N'. After the 'N', blast diagonally between barrels; aim for the single banana at the top of the screen on the upward-pointing barrel to find a puzzle piece. Shortly after, fire into the background; miss the next blast barrel to collect the 'G'. Be quick in the next area as stone idols crush barrel cannons. Time the last two barrels carefully. Fire into the barrel cannon from the stone idol's mouth only when it's exposed.

Puzzle Piece 2: Ground-pound the DK platform to open a path to the mines. Jump left instead to reveal a bonus area. Collect all items and banana coins within the time limit in the bonus area for a puzzle piece.

KONG Letter K: In the mine cart section, jump off the third mole miner's cart to grab the 'K' overhead.

Puzzle Piece 3: After two tiki buzzes, jump OVER the next mole miner to land on the bottom track; a puzzle piece is your reward.

KONG Letter O: Immediately after, get on the top track. Jump over a dip in the track to get the 'O'.

Puzzle Piece 4: Ahead, jump slightly early over a gap in the track to snag a puzzle piece.

Puzzle Piece 5: A trail of bananas and a floating banana bunch appear. About 1 second later, a puzzle piece will appear; grab it quickly.

KONG Letter N: After the ceiling disappears, jump to a higher track at the last possible moment to get the 'N'.

KONG Letter G: After jumping off tiki buzzes, the 'G' is at the bottom of the screen. Jump as late as possible to grab it.

Checkpoint: All puzzle pieces should be collected by now.

Life Balloon: Take the top track ahead for a life balloon. Avoid jumping fully off the next tiki buzz to prevent crashing into a wall.

Exit: After broken-up track, you'll be tossed onto a platform with the exit barrel.

Mugly's Mound: Grab the DK barrel if needed, then enter Mugly's arena. Mugly charges or jumps across the arena. Jump on the target on his back to damage him, but avoid the spikes protecting it when he's not attacking. If he charges (signals by chomping), jump over him and land on the target. If he jumps (signals by looking up), run under him and jump on the target. Three hits turn him orange and faster. Three more hits turn him red and extremely fast, adding a ground slam shockwave attack. To avoid the shockwave, run under him when he jumps, then jump over the shockwave onto his target. Three more hits will reveal the kalimba-like tiki. Get close and shake your controller when prompted to finish him.

Platform Panic: To enter, you need a star medal on every other stage by collecting KONG letters. This level has no KONG letters but contains puzzle pieces and is difficult. Start right; platforms appear and disappear quickly, requiring constant movement. Take your time to avoid falling.
