Walkthrough
- 1The Barrens: Synchronize your Sparrow. Head to the bunker on the right and deploy your Ghost. Defeat the Cabal, including Phalanx (shoot their hands to break their shields) and Centurions (beware of Solar Shields and explosives).
- 2Giants' Pass: Ride your Sparrow through the Scablands. Defeat Phalanxes and Legionaries. Scan the computer on the left. A dropship will arrive with tough enemies, including Bracus Tho'ourg (a Major Centurion with an access key) and Psions (avoid their blasts).
- 3Valley of the Kings: Use the access key to enter the Cabal outpost. Avoid the left side due to powerful Vex. Scan the device inside the building. Return to the Tower for a Sparrow Upgrade.
- 4The Garden's Spire: Location: Meridian Bay, Mars. Level Requirement: 16. Rewards: XP +4000 (XP +4800 Heroic), Armor Upgrade.
- 5Firebase Rubicon: Clear Cabal in the Scablands and at the Firebase entrance. Focus on Centurions. Reach the Rubicon Wastes. Beware of the Colossus with a Slug Thrower at the back opening.
- 6Garage Area: Pick up an Interceptor. Use it to destroy Centurions and another Colossus to reach the Iron Line.
- 7Iron Line: Use the Interceptor to defeat waves of Cabal, including a Centurion and a Colossus. Use your Ghost to open the gate. Enter on foot. Defeat a Major Phalanx and two normal Phalanx by targeting their arms. Proceed to Legion's Keep.
- 8Legion's Keep: Clear Cabal from different areas. Use Heavy Weapons and Super Abilities on the annoying Colossus. Defeat the Centurion ahead. Deploy your Ghost to wake the eye. Avoid damage under the spire. Defeat Primus Sha'aull (an Ultra Centurion), managing adds and avoiding his attacks. Cabal reinforcements arrive at 70% and 35% health. Save Super Abilities and Heavy Weapons for the boss. Return to your Vanguard Mentor.
- 9A Rising Tide: Location: Meridian Bay, Mars. Level Requirement: 17. Rewards: XP +4000 (XP +4800 Heroic).
- 10The Buried City: Trek to the Buried City. Defeat a Major Harpy, Minotaur, and other Vex at the entrance. Enter the left corridor where Goblins emerge in a dark room. Defeat the Vex, using their glowing eyes to your advantage.
- 11Freehold Station - Darkness Zone: Move into the lobby and engage Vex spawning Harpies.
Tips
- When fighting Phalanx, shoot their hands to make their shields drop, opening them up for headshots.
- Centurions have Solar Shields; be aware of their explosive attacks.
- The Interceptor is a powerful vehicle; use it to clear areas efficiently but know when to dismount.
- For Primus Sha'aull, save your Super Abilities and Heavy Weapons for the final phase.
