    The Dark Within
    • Begin in Old Russia, Earth. This mission requires players to be Level 3 and supports a fireteam of 1-3 players. Rewards include 1800 XP, or 2200 XP on Heroic difficulty.

    Head towards The Mothyards, deviating from the usual path through the open area. This route may contain Loot Chests and Fallen enemies.

    Navigate The Mothyards, an area with aircraft ruins that offer cover and potential Loot Chests, often guarded by Fallen. Public Events may occur here. Look for Loot Chests along the cliff on the left before heading to the Lunar Complex.

    Enter the Lunar Complex, a Darkness Zone. Your Ghost will unlock a sealed gate.

    Encounter The Hive. Thralls will rush to attack; backpedal and aim for their legs to slow them, then aim for headshots. Meleeing a single Thrall can result in a one-hit kill. Use grenades at choke points where Thralls gather.

    Ascend stairs to face Gotra, the Hive Wizard. Gotra heals The Hive and damages Guardians with a darkness cloud. Use crates for cover against Thralls, then use a grenade to weaken Gotra. Employ a Super Ability and finish Gotra with headshots.

    Defeating Gotra completes the objective and allows you to collect the Warping Claws. Return this item to your Vanguard for a piece of armor.

    The Warmind
    • Begin in Old Russia, Earth. This mission requires players to be Level 4 and supports a fireteam of 1-3 players. Rewards include 1800 XP, or 2200 XP on Heroic difficulty.

    Return to The Mothyards and turn left towards a shed. Deploy your Ghost to unlock a Sparrow. Use the Summon Vehicle button to ride the Sparrow.

    Avoid the Lunar Complex and turn right into a canyon leading to The Forgotten Shore.

    In The Forgotten Shore, locate and amplify two signals. The first signal is on a pole in a large ship, guarded by a Vandal Captain. Defeat the Captain before using your Ghost to get the signal.

    The second signal is guarded by Fallen near a large ruined structure at the far north. Ride your Sparrow up the road to the satellite complex.

    Enter the Terrestrial Complex, a Darkness Zone, via the rear entrance. Engage in a large battle with Fallen, including a Captain who can be weakened with a grenade to break his shields.

    Your objective is to resist waves of Fallen who are tapping into a computer on the left platform. Use pillars and equipment for cover to eliminate Dregs, Stealth Vandals, and Captains.

    Deploy your Ghost at the computer. A larger wave of Fallen will appear on the other side of the room.

  • Save your grenades for tougher enemies or when facing multiple foes.
  • Use cover effectively, especially against ranged enemies and during boss fights.
