Walkthrough

    Head down the stairs and across the bridge to the next circular platform. Take a left to a dead-end and pick up the Renowned Hero Soul; defeat the gargoyle that appears.

    Head right past another gargoyle to the next circular platform and grab the Fresh Spice x6.

    Continue forward to another gargoyle and enter the doorway.

    At the split path, climb the left stairs. Look for breakable vases to your left and drop down to the first platform.

    Pick up the Rune Shield and Rune Sword, then drop down again to the dead-end bridge below.

    Pick up the Moonlightstone Shard on the ledge, turn around, and crash through the junk on your left to find another Renowned Hero Soul.

    At the next doorway, continue past it and grab the Renowned Hero Soul amongst the junk.

    At the circular platform, collect the 2x Moonlightstone Shard and the Moonlightstone Chunk down the short stairs.

    Pick up the Aged Spice x2 at the base of the spiral staircase.

    Head back to the top of the spiral stairs where you dropped. Take the bridge to the left, defeat the two gargoyles (one sword, one crossbow), and reach the next circle.

    Roll off to the right onto a square platform to collect the Flamberge on a set of remains.

    Roll back left onto the circle and proceed forward. Defeat the pair of gargoyles ambushing you in front of the first fog door.

    Enter the fog door to proceed to Area 2.

    In Area 2, before grabbing the treasure on the right ledge, clear out the gargoyles inward to avoid being knocked off.

    Pick up the Aged Spice x3 from the right ledge.

    Wait for the elevator to come down, then run across it to reach a Stone of Ephemeral Eyes at the dead-end.

    While on this level, pick up the Noble's Lotus against the wall and the Renowned Warrior Soul to the left at the top of the next set of stairs.

    At the next circle, pick up the Fresh Spice x2 on the left.

    Continue right, ignoring the cages. Walk off the end of the broken bridge to the left to land on the bridge below.

    Climb up and pick up the Archstone Shard.

    Talk to Yurt the Silent Chief in the cage beside the glowing augite (magical energy source). Choose to open his cell. He will relocate to the Nexus after you defeat a boss.
Tips
  • Enemies in this area are primarily weak to Magic. Weapons like the Hands of God or Crescent Falchion are recommended.
  • The Rune Blade can be found not too far into the level.
  • The Crescent Falchion deals more damage to man centipedes, especially when upgraded.
  • The boss is weak to both fire and magic. Melee fighters should use Black Pine Resin, or alternatively Enchant Weapon or Sticky White Slime.
  • Yurt the Silent Chief, once freed, will kill NPCs in the Nexus after you defeat bosses. It is recommended to kill him yourself after clearing 3-2, or immediately if you are forgetful. Killing him will yield the Gloom Helmet, Gloom Armor, Gloom Gauntlets, and Gloom Leggings. Knocking him off the platform will not work; you must return to the area via an Archstone (a magical portal) after killing a boss to find him again until you defeat him.
