The Concierge Attacks

Melee attack:

When close, The Concierge performs a single swipe. This is best avoided by maintaining distance, as he rarely gets close enough to use it if you manage the fight well.

Fire Slam:

Used when you are at a distance. The Concierge slams his arm down, causing a line of fire to spread across the ground to the screen edges. This can be dodged by jumping over it.

Leap:

The Concierge crouches down before leaping towards you. This distance attack is often used after a Fire Slam. Dodge roll through it once you learn the timing.

Damaging Force Field:

Later in the fight, The Concierge generates a damaging red force field around himself. Dodge roll through it to avoid damage; ensure your dodge animation is complete before the field dissipates.

Roar:

Used after taking a certain amount of damage, this roar can stun you if you are in range. Keeping your distance and dodge rolling away after attacking is recommended.

Strategy

• The Concierge moves back and forth across the screen. Attack him as he approaches, then dodge roll through him to the other side when he gets close.
• Ranged weapons are highly effective due to his movement patterns and relatively slow speed. Stay at one edge, attack, and dodge his incoming moves.
• Melee combat requires more caution due to the risk of his melee attack and roar.
• Prioritize dodging the Fire Slam (jump) and Leap (dodge roll) by recognizing their wind-up animations.
• The Wolf Trap is very useful, catching him during his patrols and interrupting his Leap attack, providing free hits.
• Freezing effects (like Ice Grenade) are also beneficial, allowing for free hits and slowing him down. Combining Ice Grenades with the Fireworks Technician mutation can ensure near-constant grenade availability.
