Walkthrough

    Make your way to Blighttown, either by running from Firelink or warping to Quelaag's Domain and running from there.

    Navigate through the swamp and run to the giant tree where the Plank Shield was located.

    Hit the invisible wall, then another wall to reach the top of The Great Hollow.

    Rest at the Bonfire (a place to recover and save progress).

    From the top, head onto the first branch and turn right, falling onto a lower wide branch.

    Climb this branch until you see a thick branch to the left as your current branch turns right.

    Fall onto the thick branch and carefully fall onto the ledge below. This tunnel is crawling with Crystal Lizards (small, fast creatures that drop valuable items).

    Kill the three lizards on the platform at the end of the tunnel and the two inside the tunnel. Killing all five yields Twinkling Titanite x10 and other upgrade materials, potentially including a Titanite Slab.

    Make your way to the bottom of the tunnel where the three lizards spawned and jump to the large branch on the left.

    Head down to the right until you reach a spiral section with Basilisks (creatures that can cause curse status). Kill them and continue downwards.

    Switch branches when appropriate. Two more lizards are on a ledge here; kill them for Twinkling Titanite x4. Be careful returning to this ledge due to clipping issues. Return to the Bonfire.

    To collect items: From the start, head down the branch until you see a large hollowed tree log below. Land on the right side of the log to find the Cloranthy Ring.

    Jump down to be at the bottom of the hollowed log. Keep going down and jump to the lower branch to grab a Titanite Chunk.

    Leap to the platform behind you and to the right (not the lower one with Basilisks). Go left and up the branch to grab a Red Titanite Chunk.

    Fall to the branch to the left and take it up to return to the previously picked-up item. Jump to the Basilisk section and grab the Large Soul of a Nameless Soldier.

    Continue downwards until you see an item below where two branches switch over. Land on the lower left branch, then the branch with the item to get a White Titanite Chunk.

    Head down this branch and fall onto the lower left one (not directly underneath) to grab the Blue Titanite Chunk.

    Jump off to the left of this branch to land on a lower one and follow it down. Carefully shimmy along the branch to land on the lower branch with an item for a Red Titanite Chunk.

    Fall to the floor below and deal with any Basilisks.

    Look for holes in the ground. One next to the center of the tree has an item on it. Fall down to get a Blue Titanite Chunk.

    Fall to the floor and kill more Basilisks. Look for a branch coming from this floor and grab the Large Soul of a Nameless Soldier at its top.

    Before going down, climb a ladder back up to a higher floor section. Look for a hole on the outside wall. Hug the wall while walking to land on the branch below.

    Fall onto the lower branch and grab the White Titanite Chunk. Jump to the branch on the right and keep dropping to reach the floor of mushrooms.

    From the branch by the mushroom floor, land on the higher mushroom, then the one with the item for a Titanite Chunk.

    Follow the mushrooms to the bottom.
Tips
  • Be extremely careful when navigating the branches, as a misstep can lead to falling to your death.
  • Watch out for the weird clipping on some branches, which can cause issues with the game's geometry.
  • Crystal Lizards are skittish and will disappear if you are not quick enough.
  • If a Crystal Lizard does not spawn where expected, quitting and reloading the game can sometimes fix this.
  • Basilisks can inflict curse, which significantly reduces your maximum HP. Be prepared to deal with them.
  • Mushroom Children are not very dangerous but can knock you off ledges with their diving attacks or punches.
