Detailed walkthrough for Anor Londo in Dark Souls Remastered. Find Sentinels, Painting Guardians, Bat Wing Demons, and essential items like Demon Titanite and the Ring of the Sun's Firstborn.

From the top of Anor Londo, head down the stairs to reach the first new enemy of the area.

--Sentinel--

Sentinels are large, armoured giants. They are fairly slow but have incredible reach and deal some large amounts of damage. They like to bash their shield into the ground and swing their Giant Halberd around. They take slightly more damage from Occult Weapons. When dealing with these enemies, strafe to the right and hug their behinds and wait for a good opportunity between swings. When they jump to the side, chase them down and wail away. They are not the hardest to defeat. They also have very small aggro leashes so the Ring of Fog can be used to bypass a lot of the Sentinels if need be.

Drops: Giant's Halberd, Giant's Shield

After killing the three Sentinels here, grab the Demon Titanite from the chest. Run across into the larger area and take a left down the stairs to reach a bonfire. Run to the left hand side now and kill the Sentinels here. When they are dead, open the chests. The right chest is another Mimic so kill this one for a Crystal Halberd. The other chest has a Twinkling Titanite. Now, we need to upgrade our Halberd before progressing so we need to run all the way back to Andre so make your way there and try not to die on the way. Don’t rest at any Bonfire as we will just use a Homeward Bone to return to Anor Londo. You want to get your Halberd to at least +9 before proceeding so do that now. Use a Homeward Bone to get back to the Anor Londo Bonfire. Use the remaining souls to reach level 42 and have 25 Vitality.

Run straight across and take the lift down. At the bottom is a Gargoyle, almost identical to the boss at the start of the game. You will get some of the remaining Gargoyle equipment if the boss didn't drop them before. Run underneath the staircase behind you and follow it around to reach a Demon Titanite in a chest. Go through the narrow corridor and run along the beam, roll off at the top and reach the upper level of this large building. Inside, there will be a new enemy to greet you.

--Painting Guardian--

These enemies are your standard Hollows of Anor Londo and will mostly be found within this large building. They rack a few combos with their weapons and can backstab you so avoid large groups of these guys. They will also throw Throwing Knives at you from a distance. They can also swap out one of their weapons for a shield.

Drops: Painting Guardian Sword, Throwing Knife

Kill the two Guardians here before climbing the ladder. This next part is tricky. You will need to scale the beams across the building while dealing with the occasional Guardian along the way. The Ring of Fog will make this section a lot easier so you don't attract all the enemies at once. Keep the shield up at all times. Use the Lightning Spear so you can attack through the shield. About halfway across, attack the chain to drop the chandelier to pick up an item later on in the level. At the very end, roll to the left first to land on the base of the female statue. From here, jump across to the balcony on the left side of the room. Kill the Guardian up the stairs and grab the Divine Blessing from the chest at the top. Drop back onto the base of the statue and go to the right side now and head through the fog wall at the top.

At the top, turn the big wheel here to rotate the platform. After the cutscene, rotate it again and head all the way down to the lower floor of the lever. Here, grab the Ring of the Sun's Firstborn and rest at the Bonfire.

--NOTE--

The statue by the Bonfire is an illusory wall and can only be opened after killing Gwynevere or acquiring the Darkmoon Seance Ring within the Catacombs. With either of those requirements, the wall will disappear and you can make your way down to Gwyndolin. If you killed Gwynevere, you can fight Gwyndolin as a boss ( I will cover the boss fight after we finish Anor Londo). However, if you do this, you miss out on a covenant and a Trophy. After acquiring the Lordvessel, grab the ring from the Catacombs to be able to join the covenant here. Do not enter the fog wall. Instead, kneel near the candles in front of the fog wall to join it. The Blade of the Darkmoon Covenant is a PvP focused covenant which allows you to invade guilty players. In order to rank up the covenant, you will need Souvenir of Reprisals for killing a guilty player. The ranks are as follows:

Rank 0 = Blue Eye Orb and Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring ( 0 Reprisals Offered)

Rank 1 = Darkmoon Blade and Darkmoon Talisman (10 Reprisals Offered)

Rank 2 = N/A (30 Reprisals Offered)

Rank 3 = N/A (80 Reprisals Offered)

Joining the covenant will get you the _Covenant: Blade of the Darkmoon Trophy_.

From the Bonfire, run up to the top of the stairs and enter the building here. We are now underneath the rafters we crossed earlier. This area is crawling with Painting Guardians so deal with them efficiently. Run all the way to the back left corner to grab the Black Iron Set, Greatsword and the Black Iron Greatshield. Grab the Great Magic Weapon Sorcery from the crashed chandelier you knocked down earlier.

--NOTE--

The gigantic painting at the back of room will take you to the Painted World of Ariamis. We cannot enter it yet but we will be back soon for it so keep it in mind.

Return to the turning elevator and pull it to reach the top level and deal with the Gargoyle here. Whatever you didn't get from the previous Gargoyle, this one will give you the rest. Run up the stairs and deal with the two Sentinels at the top. Head right for now and down the stairs to find a new enemy.

--Bat Wing Demon--

These demons are quite agile. They like to stab at you with their spears and tend to jump up in the air out of reach to attack you from the sky. They have fairly little health and die in a few hits. Using a shield is effective here as they will bounce of it. Despite their
