The in-game shop in Clash Royale allows players to purchase various items using gold or Gems. It features different sections for cards, chests, and special offers, all of which refresh periodically or appear under specific conditions.

Cards and Free Stuff

You can buy stacks of cards using gold or sometimes Gems to unlock new cards or upgrade existing ones. Each stack can only be purchased once. The card selection refreshes every 24 hours and may include free items or special deals. On 'Epic Sundays,' six cards are available instead of the usual three, featuring several Epic rarity cards, along with a random free Epic card. Once you reach Arena 11 (Legendary Arena), Legendary cards can also be bought with gold when they appear. During Epic Sundays, players can also donate and request Epics within their Clan.

Treasure Chests, Gems, and Gold

The shop also offers treasure chests like Giant Chests, Magical Chests, and Super Magical Chests for purchase with Gems. These chests can be opened instantly and contain cards scaled to your current Arena or below. Gem costs for chests increase with higher Arenas. Additionally, Gems can be bought with real money, and Gold can be purchased using Gems.

Special Offers

Special offers appear in the shop for various reasons and come in several types:

• New Card Special Offers: When a new Common, Rare, or Epic card is released, you can buy bundles of it with Gems to get an early advantage.
• Arena Pack Special Offers: Upon reaching a new arena, you can purchase packs with real money that typically include a high-tier chest (Magical, Super Magical, or Legendary), Gems, and Gold. The Arena 11 pack includes a Draft Chest. These are considered excellent value.
• Epic Chest and Legendary Chest Special Offer: Occasionally, an Epic Chest or Legendary Chest may be offered. Epic Chests are more common as special offers, while Legendary Chests are rare. An Epic Chest costs 10,000 gold, and a Legendary Chest costs 500 Gems.
• Event Special Offers/Packs: These offers are tied to holidays or in-game events (e.g., Chinese New Year, game anniversary). They usually provide good value and can include Gems, Gold, and chests. In the past, free items like a Magical Chest have been given away during these events.
