Learn the best strategies and attack patterns to defeat the challenging bosses Rayquaza and Tabuu in Brawl Stars. Master their moves and conquer Intense difficulty.

Boss: Rayquaza

Rayquaza is a highly unpredictable boss that is effective at killing players. Its durability is its strongest asset, making it the hardest boss on Intense. Its most common attack is a quick tail sweep around its lower body, which is difficult to spot dodge due to its unpredictability and duration. Characters like Jigglypuff can avoid this by staying airborne, but most characters struggle to stay high enough. Rayquaza also quickly darts across the field, which is hard to avoid unless anticipated. If Rayquaza flies off the top of the screen, it will dive into the ground and follow up with an easily avoidable ground eruption. If it leaves from the side, it will dart across the lower screen, only its head being dangerous. These leaving-the-screen attacks are repeated three times at low health, making the darts difficult to avoid. Rayquaza charges a blue electric ball in its mouth and shoots it along the ground; jumping over it is effective, but the charge itself is deadly. Characters like Fox can reflect this for good damage. When Rayquaza's eyes glow, it's about to create an explosion; moving quickly or air dodging can avoid it. Its least common move is flying up and summoning lightning strikes, which deals high damage but has low kill potential; running or well-timed rolls can help avoid it.

Boss: Tabuu

Tabuu is a random boss who teleports and uses dangerous, telegraphed attacks. A red explosion may appear after teleports, damaging nearby players. If Tabuu stays low, it can be easy to hit, but on Intense, it often stays too high. Tabuu opens with a quick ground sweep attack with a blade, easily jumped over. It also throws its blade on a chain, ensnaring and damaging the player; air dodging and changing vertical position can help avoid this. If caught, a partner can land free hits.
