Falco excels at aerial combat and controlling space with his projectiles. His large jump allows him to chase opponents effectively, but he struggles with ground pressure. His key moves include a powerful forward aerial for damage and a devastating down aerial spike for KOs, especially near ledges. His quick back aerial can be chained, and his up aerial is a strong, albeit less precise, alternative to Fox's. Falco's neutral aerial is a significant improvement, offering good damage and minimal landing lag, allowing for follow-up grounded attacks.

Falco's grab game centers around a potent down throw chain grab, where he throws the opponent down, runs forward, and grabs them again before they can recover. This combo is most effective against heavier or slower characters and requires mixing in grab attacks to maximize damage, especially on longer stages.

His recovery is robust, with Falco Phantasm being a notable tool. Unlike Fox Illusion, Falco Phantasm cannot be canceled by B midair but can spike opponents, making him dangerous to edge guard. He can even use it offensively to edge guard foes. Fire Falco offers less distance than Fire Fox and is best reserved for recovery.

Falco's Reflector is a unique attack that pushes enemies away and can lead into combos with his down throw. His Blaster is a standout move, firing slower than Fox's but with incredible range and a stunning effect. Falco should use his Blaster constantly to create a wall of interruption, both on the ground and in the air. He can even use it to turn around mid-air for defensive maneuvers.

Falco can wall jump but not wall cling or crawl. He possesses a single midair jump and quick roll and spot dodge options for defensive play. He struggles against characters like Fox, Wolf, Ness, Lucas, and Mr. Game & Watch, but excels against Bowser and friends. R.O.B. and Pit present challenges due to their recovery from spikes, spam options, and specific counters to Falco's strategies (R.O.B.'s down smash and Pit's Mirror Shield).

Wolf Unlock Requirements:

• Play 450 brawls.
• Have Wolf join your party in The Subspace Emissary.
• Clear Boss Battles with Fox or Falco.

Wolf is an unpredictable character known for his lunging movements, offering a less rigid feel than Fox and Falco. He combines speed and power effectively, placing him above much of the competition. His jab combo moves him forward, and his forward tilt is good for forcing opponents off-stage. His up tilt is a quick move for popping opponents up, while his down tilt is primarily a pressure tool.
