Voracidous the Invincible

Learn how to defeat Voracidous the Invincible in Borderlands 2. This guide covers his resistances, weaknesses, and strategies for taking him down.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Resistent To: Corrosive
• Weak Against: Bullets of all kinds. Weapons that deal with shields are very important.

Phases:

1. When you first summon Voracidous, he'll be accompanied by Chief Ngwatu. Voracidous has no shield at this stage, but Ngwatu does. Your primary goal is to deplete Ngwatu's shield as much as possible before focusing on Voracidous.
2. Halfway through the fight, Ngwatu will transfer his remaining shield to Voracidous, powering him up significantly.

Strategy:

• Prioritize damaging Chief Ngwatu's shield at the start of the fight.
• Once Ngwatu's shield is down, or you've done as much damage as you can to it, switch your focus to Voracidous.
• Be aware of Voracidous's ranged spike attack. If you see these spikes being launched into the arena, you need to immediately move away from them as their explosion deals significant damage.
