Uncle Teddy

Guide to Uncle Teddy's mission in Borderlands 2. Find TK's secret lab, collect ECHOs, and decide whether to give the weapon blueprint to Una or Hyperion.

Alright, so you've stumbled upon the "Uncle Teddy" mission. This one's a bit of a detective job, and it kicks off after you finish up the 'Toil and Trouble' mission. You'll be heading to the Fyrestone Bounty Board in the Arid Nexus Badlands, and your level should be around 28 to tackle this properly. Expect to snag about 3491 XP, $1074, and a random Pistol or Shotgun for your troubles.

The mission giver is Una Baha, TK Baha’s niece. She's pretty upset about her uncle's death and wants you to search his cabin for anything that might help avenge him. When you get close to the cabin, Una will chime in, telling you that you need to get into his secret lab. She mentions you'll need to pull some kind of switch to open it up.

Head over to TK's house. Look up at the ceiling fan – see that cord glowing green? That's your cue! Give it a good pull, and bam, the door to his secret lab will swing open.

Once you're inside and head downstairs, your main task is to find six pieces of evidence. These are hidden inside lockers, containers, and safes scattered around. Just keep opening everything you can until you've collected all six ECHOs. After you've got all the evidence, Una will ask you to track down her uncle's weapon blueprint. You'll find it near the vending machine in the area. Look for a switch on the side of the machine – flip it to reveal a secret compartment holding the blueprint.

Now, here's where things get interesting. As soon as you grab that blueprint, Hyperion will call you. They want it for themselves! You've got a big decision to make:

• Give the blueprint to Una: She'll reward you with the Lady Fist pistol. This thing is seriously awesome, especially if you love landing critical hits because it has a massive critical hit damage bonus.
• Give the blueprint to Hyperion: They'll give you the Tidal Wave shotgun. It's pretty similar to TK's Wave gun from the first Borderlands game, so if you liked that, you might dig this one.
