The BONELAB Hub, also known as the Special Projects Area, is the central hub of the game and serves as the access point to the six main gamemodes. It contains modules to access various themed maps and a Bodymall for setting avatars.

Description
The level begins in the Conceptual Isolation Chamber. The Avatar enters the Special Projects Area, tasked with exploring three modules. The area features the song "Would You Even Know" and a bulletin board.
Unlocking the Left Side
After exploring three modules, energy cores will unlock. The Avatar must pilot a BOSSCLAW using controls to extend, retract, move it, and toggle its magnetic gravity field. Using the minimap, the BOSSCLAW must collect energy cores and bring them to one of the six flanking tubes. Three cores attached to pipes unlock the quarantine airlock.
Unlocking the Right Side
Once the player returns to the Hub, they must explore the remaining modules and retrieve their cores. Attaching all six cores to their pipes opens the BONEWORKS door.
Hidden Room
Entering metal vents leads to corridors with hand-drawn doors. Using a keycard, the Avatar can access a room connected to the Lab, physically located beneath MythOS City's District 05. The purpose of a second hand-drawn door is unknown.
