The BONELAB Hub, also known as the Special Projects Area, is your main base of operations. It's where you'll access the six main game modes and where you can swap out your avatars at the Bodymall. Think of it as your central command.
Unlocking the Left Side Secrets
After you've explored three of the main modules, you'll notice these cool pillars of light appearing above them. That's your cue! These lights lead to energy cores. Your mission is to head to the control room. Inside, you'll get to pilot a BOSSCLAW. You can extend and retract it with a lever, move it along its rails, and even toggle its magnetic gravity field with a button. Use the minimap to guide the BOSSCLAW to those energy cores. When you get close, they'll snap right on! Then, you just need to bring them over to one of the six tubes flanking the control room. They'll latch on automatically. Once you've got three cores locked into their pipes, the massive quarantine airlock on the right side of the control room will swing open. That's your ticket to the next area!
Unlocking the Right Side Secrets
Once you're back in the Hub after progressing further in the game, it's time to tackle the remaining modules. Just like before, explore them to find their energy cores. Collect all six and bring them to their respective pipes. When all six cores are in place, the BONEWORKS door, located to the right of the control area, will finally be openable. Time to see what's behind door number two!
The Hidden Room
Now for the really good stuff! Head into the metal vents located underneath the lab. Follow the corridors, and you'll eventually find two walls with hand-drawn doors. You'll need one of the keycards you find in Stress Level Zero's offices to get through. Using a keycard on one of these walls will transport you to a room connected to the Lab, but it's actually located beneath District 05 of MythOS City. What about the second wall with a hand-drawn door? Its purpose is still a bit of a mystery, so keep an eye out!
