BoneLab: Understand Avatar Mechanics

The BONELAB Hub, also known as the Special Projects Area, is the main hub of the game and the second level in BONELAB. It serves as the access point to the six main gamemodes and is a central turning point in the campaign. The Hub contains six modules that allow the Avatar to access various themed maps and a Bodymall for setting different avatars.

Walkthrough

The level begins in the Conceptual Isolation Chamber. Exit by prying open doors or escaping through the roof hatch to enter the Special Projects Area.

Explore three modules to unlock pillars of light above them, indicating where energy cores will appear.

Progress to the control room and pilot the BOSSCLAW using its controls: a lever for extension/retraction, directional movement along rails, and a button to toggle its magnetic gravity field.

Use the minimap to pilot the BOSSCLAW to the unlocked energy cores. Activate the gravity field to attract nearby cores.

Bring the attached energy cores to one of the six flanking tubes. They will automatically snap into place.

Attach energy cores to any three pipes to unlock the massive quarantine airlock to the right of the control room.

After progressing further in the game and returning to the Hub, explore the remaining modules and retrieve their cores.

Once all six cores are attached to their pipes, the BONEWORKS door to the right of the control area will become openable.

To access the Hidden Room, enter the metal vents underneath the lab. Navigate corridors to find walls with hand-drawn doors. Use a keycard to cross one wall and reach a room connected to the Lab, physically located beneath MythOS City's District 05. The purpose of the second hand-drawn door is unknown.
